I look at the checklist and mark off everything we have: clothes, sunscreen, umbrella, towels, emergency money, his phone charger and laptop with its charger. Extra shoes. My coffee and tea. 5 books. I feel like we are missing something, oh right his stuffed duck' i run upstairs and look for it 'he's in the kitchen making snacks for the drive he might have the duck with him'

He's i go back downstairs "hun do you have willy?" "yes!!" "Okay good i couldn't find him. Everything is packed and ready but him" i go over to him and kiss him "need any help, husband" he chuckles "i do not husband" we chuckle together "soooo about this whole you can get pregnant thing" Lucifer smiles nervous

"i can get pregnant, i cant believe lilith would do that, actually yes i can, i haven't even told Charlie yes, that's a conversation for after our honeymoon" "so we could have kids" "yep we can have kids" "how does that work??" "Honestly I don't know and I'm not trying to figure out, I just know I can get pregnant" "fair" I help him pack the food and we go out to where everyone is "alright, we are heading out" "have a great time dads!" Charlie and nifty say at the same time." "don't get lost on the way there" Vaggie waves "try to bring me back something!" Angel smiles "don't drink any shitty alcohol! Also why are you driving?" Husk asked seriously wondering know they both can teleport.

"Because we want to enjoy the journey there, we haven't been on a road trip before!" i said smiling "and i like driving. I haven't done it in a long time ""Have so much fun my boy!" my mom kisses my cheek. We hug everyone and then get in the car "are you sure you want to drive bae? I can drive ""i have driven before, plus you're a little too short" i laugh a little "i'll show you short!" i kiss him then start the car and start driving.

"The trip there is about 5 hours, I'll drive half way then you can drive the other half. Hotel is booked right?" "yes! I got us the honeymoon sweet and it has an amazing view!" he pulls out his phone "hey babyyyyy" "yes hun?" "sooo remember how Vox got us a new tv and a phone and you told me that i could have it?" "yes i remember" "well i set it up and it's set up for you" "hun you know i don't want a phone" "but but if you don't have a phone then Charlie or nifty can text or call you while we are gone and nether can your mom and what if they need us?" i take a deep breathe then sigh "fine. But only because they might need us and it would be bad if they couldn't get a hold of us ""yay!!!" he hands me the phone. It has a case with two deer with a heart "look it's you and your mom!"

I smile big "that's really sweet love thank you" "and and and" he presses the button to show the lock screen, it's a picture of me, him with charlie hugging us and nifty on my shoulders hugging my ear "that's what this picture was for?" "yes! That's why I needed to make sure you didn't blur yourself." "it's a really good picture" "and the home screen" i open it and see a picture of me and him kissing "you choose perfect pictures my love" "i know im the greatest husband ever"

"That is very true. Can you tell me when the next exit is?" Lucifer looks at the phone "next exit isnt for another 57 miles' "oh okay good." i put cruise control on and lift my foot off the gas. "Then we can relax for a little bit" i see him smirking at me "what? Why are you looking at me like that?" he holds up a can of YellowCow (listen i know what you are thinking just use the normal name for the energy drink IRL. no. you can't make me.)  which i know is an energy drink "don't you dare chug that" he opens it "but what if i did?" "you are going to get extremely hyper then crash" "then you should share it with me all you drink is coffee and tea" "i don't know i have never had an energy drink before" "try it and if you like it then you can have half"

i hesitate but i know he wouldn't give me anything that would hurt me so i grab it and take a small sip and cringe "it's not good but its not bad either" her laughs "but i don't know if i can keep drinking it" "that's okay hun you have to drink it" "let me try it again" i take another sip "its growing on me actually, are there other flavors?" "yeah thats the original flavor but there is a bunch of different flavors" "i want to try those at some point" "you should they are sooo good, the one they came out for for pride month was amazing!"
