4 Months Later:

And so, I became Mrs. Day after three months and once again, I am the happiest woman in the world after all those years.

I quickly moved to New York into Richard's apartment and got a job at the hospital I had always wanted, but my childhood friends were no longer there. I met new colleagues and became friends with them.

At the wedding, my maid of honor was Molly, who was a bit upset about my move to another hospital and my lie about deactivating my profile, but neither Molly nor anyone else could ruin my day. Molly couldn't come with me to the New York hospital, but she promised she would visit us often, and I held her to her word.

Every day, I would pull my hair into a ponytail and wear a smile on my face. I no longer hid my scar, which my husband always kissed whenever we met at the hospital.

Now we were in our apartment, waiting for the pregnancy test results.

"Richie, how much longer?" – I asked him nervously.

"Another 40 seconds, darling." – he said, looking at his phone.

On my phone, there was a video call from Molly, who was as excited as I was.

"Come on already. I can't wait any longer." – she was screaming with excitement.

"5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, we can check the test." – Richard said.

Richard took the test from the cup, but we had agreed to keep a poker face no matter what to tease Molly a little.

"Come on, what is it? Tell me!" – she was practically screaming in my old hospital, and it was safe to say she was embarrassing me a little.

Richard gave me a mysterious look, then handed me the pregnancy test, and I looked at it and gave him the same mysterious look.

Meanwhile, Molly was still going wild in the hospital because she couldn't read our poker faces.

"We're pregnant!" – we shouted at one point and kissed each other.

"I'm going to be an aunt!" – Molly screamed, going wild throughout the hospital.

The two of us could no longer hear her on the video call as we were absorbed in the news that we would be having a little Gabriel or a little Gabriela, since we had long ago decided that the baby, regardless of gender, would be named after the grandfather and the man who was responsible for all of this.
