* * *

The sun hung languidly in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue over the tranquil neighborhood. A light breeze rustled through a nearby park, stirring the petals of the cherry blossoms that adorned a small park where a 17-year-old girl walked towards college, the soft crunch of leaves beneath her feet mingling with the distant sound of birdsong.

As Chaemin, a girl no more than a random teen walked, a sense of serenity washed over her. The morning air was crisp, the sun's first warm rays gently caressing her skin.

The sky was a beautiful shade of soft blue, adorned with a few wisps of cotton-like clouds lazily drifting by. The cherry blossoms swayed lazily in the breeze, their soft pink petals creating a mesmerizing dance as they floated gently to the ground. It was undoubtedly a blissful morning.

As she walked along the path, the young girl embodied a captivating grace. She seemed to carry within her the essence of youth and possibility. The morning light gently illuminated the curves of her face, accentuating the delicate arch of her brows and the full, rosy pout of her lips. Her hair, a curtain of chocolate brown, framed her face in soft waves, the casual style adding to her natural charm.

She moved with a subtle, graceful confidence, a picture of innocence and potential, like a flower in bloom.

CHAEMIN'S POV

I was in a particularly good mood today. I had accomplished the challenging Physics homework that our teacher had given us, and I felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that I wouldn't be getting scolded for a change.

As I walked to school, I found myself jogging to school with a light spring in my step. After arriving, I casually strolled through the school corridors, when all of a sudden, I felt a firm yet familiar shoulder bump into mine. I turned around to find none other than Lee Yongbok, my closest and most cherished friend, standing there with a mischievous grin.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

There was a sense of easy comfort as Felix and Chaemin stood together, their casual banter flowing effortlessly between them.

"Yo! Moonlight, all good?" Yongbok greeted her with an easy smile, the nickname rolling off his tongue effortlessly.

Chaemin returned his smile with a soft yet bright one of her own. "Feeling pretty grand today. Just finished my Physics homework and I'm not expecting a scolding for once. How about you, my Sunshine?" she asked, an eyebrow slightly cocked in amusement.

Felix shook his head, "Nah, same as always. No big news on my end."

Chaemin tilted her head, raising an eyebrow, "Are you sure? No big events or tasks you're forgetting?" She nudged his arm, searching his eyes.

Felix's squinted eyes and nervous look gave him away, signaling the guilt he felt.

Chaemin stopped abruptly, her disbelief evident on her face. "Oh no, you didn't..." she exclaimed with a hint of mock disappointment.

Felix fidgeted anxiously, his eyebrows raising as he tried to remember, "What... what did I forget?"

Chaemin's eyes widened in feigned incredulity. "Are you serious right now?" she exclaimed, her voice laced with growing impatience, "You ate my brownie, promised to treat me back, and now you stand here and tell me you forgot about it?"

He chuckled apologetically, his eyes pleading forgiveness. "I'm sorry, really. It slipped my mind. And besides, I wouldn't want to upset my favorite person."

She couldn't help but soften at his words, her stern demeanor crumbling a bit. "Hmph, Insisting? Okay, I'll consider forgiving you. But only if you treat me better than a brownie."
