Cut Off

The Rangers tease Ollie for bringing all of his gadgets on a camping trip. But his tech might be their only hope when sinister Sporix suddenly attack.

*My POV*

All of us, including Jason decided to go camping! Jason decided to stay here in Pine Ridge with me. "It's nice to get out of the city for a bit." Zayto said as we were walking through the woods. "This'll be great." Amelia said as Ollie led the way. "I love camping-- the stars, the fire, the s'mores." I said as we kept following each other.

"When we were kids, Javi always ate the marshmallows before we could make 'em. Glad he's grown up." Izzy said as we kept walking. "Yeah. Totally grown up." Javis aid as we kept walking. "You guys wanna see something cool?" Ollie asked and Tommy was carrying my bag, which I tried to carry, but he wouldn't let me. So I was on Jason's back just like I always was when we were younger. 

"Yeah." Amelia admitted as we heard the birds chirping. Ollie unzipped his bag and pulled out a gadget. "Hm." Javi said. "Hm." Zayto said as well. We all just stared at it. "It's a retractable walking pole." Ollie said, and we all had bored looks, mostly me, Jason and Tommy, since we went through it with Billy. 

"Hm. Doesn't seem super necessary." Amelia said before I saw Ollie's shoes beeping. "You've got to be kidding me." I said as we heard the beeping. "Whoa! Ollie, either your shoes are really excited, or they're signaling for help." Amelia said. "Actually, that means they're fully charged. My battery boots create electricity with every step." Ollie said as we all just stared at him.

"Why do you need electricity? We're camping." Zayto said as him and Javi look at each other. "Oh, you'll see." Ollie said. We soon found the perfect spot and we were all setting up multiple things since there's eight of us. "Hey, guys. I love my digital binoculars. The zoom on these is insane!" Ollie said as we all were soon finished. 

"Hm, is that so?" Zayto said as we came up, Tommy, Jason and I standing together. You see, ever since we reunited, we've never been apart. Just like the old days. "I also brought an electric chainsaw for firewood." Ollie said as he pulled out a tiny saw. He turned it on. "Handy." Izzy said sarcastically.

"But...this jacket is my fave! It's got a ton of hi-tech functions, like this one." Ollie said, before he pushed a button and a fan appeared on his shoulder. "See? Cools me down when the jacket gets too hot." Ollie said. "You could take the jacket off." Tommy and Jason said. "But then I wouldn't look this awesome." Ollie said. 

"Awesome? More like ridiculous." I said rolling my eyes. "Whaddaya think?" Ollie asked. "It's, uh...definitely a jacket." Amelia said. "That's a lot of tech, Ollie." Javi said and Ollie pushed a button and turned the fans off. "Uh, camping should be simple--like, lying in a hammock with a guitar." Javi said for example. 

"Oh, that's my remote-controlled auto-rocking hammock. It's designed to lull you to sleep." Ollie said. "Ollie, no offense, but all this stuff seems like total overkill." Izzy said. Zayto walked towards Ollie, and put his hand on his shoulder. "I'll give it a try." Zayto offered and I facepalmed. 

"Oh, cool. Hop in." Ollie said, as he helped Zayto hop into the hammock. Javi was leaning against the tree as Jason, Tommy and I had bored looks. "Ahh. It's pretty comfy." Zayto admitted. "Set the type of rocking you'd like." Ollie said handing Zayto a remote. "Wow, this is nice." Zayto said as he adjusted it. 

The hammock was rocking. "See?" Ollie asked. "Yeah." Zayto admitted quietly. "I wonder if it can go any faster." Zayto said as he adjusted the speed. And it began rocking him a lot, causing all of us to worry. "Oh!" Zayto said, before he began yelling in panic as the hammock kept rocking. "Zayto!" I shouted worried as it began trapping Zayto inside.
