4 - Hogsmeade

My friends had waited outside the classroom for me. When I came out they were all still standing there which I had not expected. It took longer than just five minutes so I thought they had gone without me and I would have to catch them at Hogsmeade. "Thank you guys for waiting, sorry that it took quite a while." They looked slightly annoyed but they knew they didn't have to wait if it were to take longer than a few minutes, which it did. We went on outside and made our way over to Hogsmeade. My best friend and I were sitting at a table whilst our other two friends were ordering drinks.

She turned to me with a slight smirk. "What?" I frowned and she rolled her eyes. "Since we are alone you can gladly tell me what happened inside the classroom with mister rumor." She referred Professor Riddle as mister rumor and I elbowed her. "Nothing happened!! He just had some more questions, that's all." It looked like she didn't believe me though I was very serious. She wanted to ask me more about it but she couldn't since our other friends were headed back to our table.

We enjoyed our drinks as we spoke. We had all ordered a butter beer considering it had been a while sinds we drank it. I could see Mai was nearly jumping from eagerness wanting me to continue my after class situation with Professor Riddle, regardless of me telling her nothing had happened. She was being quite persuasive however I contributed her a look that I wouldn't budge. Mai rolled her eyes but lucky for her our other two friends continued the subject. "So what happened with Professor Riddle, Yn?" Unfortunately nothing. "Nothing happened guys!! I am telling you." It took more than a 'nothing happened' to convince Draco. "So the intense glaring meant nothing?" Blaise added along with a snicker coming from Mai.

Not a minute later things grew more uncomfortable for me. The door of the three broomsticks opened, not without a shriek. A hard gush of wind entered the pub, together with Professor Riddle. This was the person i'd least expect to visit a pub. Unfortunately he saw us, me, sitting here and decided to greet us which was a horrible idea. With creaking floorboards under his feet he stopped at out table. "Good afternoon ms. Ln, mr. Malfoy, mr. Zabini and ms. White." Ms. White was Mai, Mai White. It was already awkward enough talking about Professor Riddle with my friends, let alone him greeting us after a conversation about him. "Good afternoon Professor." I greeted him with a smile. "How come you're here?" Mai took a sip of her butter beer after asking her question. Professor Riddle dusted off his clothes with his hands. "I had some free time and thought why don't I come here again." We continued a small talk and Professor Riddle left us alone again. Those felt like the longest 6 minutes ever.
