The next time he sees Minho is after midterms.
Yeonjun, a fashion major, throws a party in his frat house to celebrate.
"Never see you at these kinds of parties," the guy says, sneaking up behind Seungmin as he gets a bottle of water from the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'm not much of a crowd-kind of person." He replies, uncapping the bottle as he thinks of how to escape this conversation.
"So what made you change your mind?"
"Huh?" He asks, eyes wandering anywhere away from Minho's piercing stare.
"What made you change your mind tonight? Coming here?" He clarifies, tilting his head towards Seungmin to catch his attention.
He finally looks, in his direction at least. "Felix wanted to see... see someone he likes." He's not entirely sure how well Felix knows Minho so he decides to keep Felix's crush's name out of it.
"Ah," Minho chuckles, leaning back against the granite top counter. "What about you?"
"Me?" He repeats dumbly. "What about me?"
"Do you have someone you like?"
Seungmin feels the skin of his face warm, his fingers shaky as he uncaps the water bottle again. "No." He mutters, taking a sip.
"You're blushing, Sky-ah~"
His face burns even warmer. "It's just a personal question." He explains.
"Right," Minho drawls, smirking as he reaches for Seungmin's ears. "Cute."
Seungmin chokes on his water, coughing as he bats Minho's hand away. "Shut up. I don't like anyone right now."
Raising a brow, Minho leans into his space again. "Is that so?"
"Yes," he frowns, finally managing to cough the water out of his breathing canal. "I just came along with Felix and Hyunjin."
Sticking out his lower lip, Minho hums in acknowledgment. "Are you going home with anyone tonight?"
"What?" He asks, his voice squeaky. "Just the boys I came with." What is that supposed to mean? He thinks silently, watching Minho.
"I don't know," Minho sings, "cause I could show you a good time if you're interested."
Seungmin swears that he'd choke again if he had taken another sip as he splutters in response.
"What?" He screeches. "No, no, definitely not looking for that tonight. No thank you."
Minho pouts, and it almost seems genuine. "Why not? Am I not your type?"
Scoffing, Seungmin can't even take him seriously anymore. He feels a sort of disgust, knowing how his soulmate acts with others—how he flirts with others.
But he doesn't want anything to do with him.
"I gotta go." He huffs, trying not to make his stutter of surprise obvious as he shoves the water bottle into Minho's chest.
