ONE YEAR LATER
It had been more than 4 months since Jungkook had proposed to Tae on the same haunted lake where they first had sex. But with the help of Hope and Jimin he got it decorated with fairy lights, table, chairs, candle light dinner, dinner of course.
It was indeed the happiest day of Tae's life.
But whenever Tae spoke about the wedding Jungkook said that they should wait and enjoy this period. However, Tae wanted to get married. He wanted to get married as soon as possible. Still, Jungkook avoided the topic always. He was super busy with his business in the city and very often he would visit the village too.
They had been fighting like cats and dogs since a month over this topic and having angry, mad sex the next day. Fighting two days later and then shagging in every corner of tehri house. This went on and on, till Tae went sore.
Tae's parents had mysteriously gone on a trip and Jungkook suggested they too visit the village once. Even though he was mad at Jungkook, Tae agreed because he wanted change and to meet Pluto and Yoongi who had settled in the village forever.
As they sat in the cab at night Tae got déjà vu and remembered how he met Jungkook the first time. But this time, Jungkook was sitting beside him.
"Want water?" Jungkook offered Tae some water but he just pouted and looked out at the dark.
Rolling his eyes, Jungkook put the bottle inside and looked ahead at the road. The driver was obviously a friend of Jungkook who couldn't stop talking to Jungkook.
He had just got married and his bride was a city girl too. How she detested the whole wedding and the rituals!
"Its so hard for our brides," Adam – the driver – kept saying, "She said that if I ever make her go through any ritual again then she will leave me."
Tae just stared out and murmured, "At least she got a wedding to go through rituals. Some people don't even get those."
Adam exchanged glances with Jungkook and then passed the comment, "You really don't know our rituals. They are barbaric. Specially for the brides. It's just a hunting game for the brides."
Tae didn't pay any attention to the guy and put on some music and closed his eyes.
When they finally reached the destination, Jungkook woke him up and the nostalgia hit Tae. The last time he was here was when the two confessed feelings for each other. Those early days of love. When you haven't touched each other, when you haven't explored every side of each other. It's so thrilling.
"Welcome beautiful," Jungkook's aunt hugged Tae who had a smile on his face.
Tae's eyes hovered over the villas and found them oddly brightened up. There were a few decorations hanging too.
