Jungkook and Tae were walking upstairs to the terrace of Tae's office for the office party. Both were dressed in black and looked like deadly vampires with an over-flowing jacket.
Tae was pretty excited because he was going to meet his favorite boss, Mr. Park after about 4 months. He also needed to ask for a week leave from the same boss. Finally, Tae and Jungkook had decided to DO IT. But they both wanted it to be extra special so Jungkook had booked a bungalow outside the city by the lake.
As soon as they entered the party, they saw so many people who couldn't take their eyes off the couple. Jin, Namjoon were sitting in a corner eating. Jimin and Hope with them but drinking. Pluto had skipped the party since Yoongi wasn't comfortable with parties and meeting so many new people at the same time.
Tae's office was simple – almost like those offices from the 90s American sitcoms. Due to which they all decided to host the party on the terrace. The terrace was lit with fairy lights and there was barbeque in a corner.
They moved inside but could hardly join their friends since Tae's other colleagues wanted to meet Jungkook.
"So – you are the Jeon Jungkook, hmmm," said one of Tae's co-worker Stacy eyeing Jungkook with jealously.
She was in love with Tae since years. And was of course heartbroken when she found out Tae was living with a guy.
"Yes," Jungkook smiled almost pulling Tae close to him.
He felt weird and threatened by their looks.
"You don't look like you are from village," she titled her head and played with the wine glass.
Tae rolled his eyes and hit Stacy's arm gently, "Don't!"
"What?" she batted her eyelashes, "Just curious babe."
Babe? Jungkook raised his eyebrow. Was this girl in love with Tae?
"He actually owns two villages," Tae smiled and corrected her.
Stacy looked extremely drunk, the tight dress making her uncomfortable as she shook her head, "Whatever! I – I am getting over you Taehyung. You broke my heart. Remember that!"
"Stacy," Tae laughed and whined but she was gone with another girl, perhaps to the washroom.
Jungkook took a pint of beer from another colleague and whispered in Tae's ears, "What the fuck does she mean?"
Tae pouted and shrugged causally, "She – she just had a crush on me."
Jungkook had a sip and he just stared at his boyfriend baffled, "She said that you broke her heart. I think its more than a crush."
Grabbing a plate of starters, Tae began eating and feeding Jungkook.
Finally, they joined their friends and saw how badly Hope was drunk.
