misunderstanding

"I missed you so much" I bury my head in the crook of my boyfriend's neck. "I missed you too" Walker kisses my temple as he wrapped an arm around me.

"Don't ever leave for that long again, please" I smile up at him , "I won't" he smiled back. He was away for a little over a month for Percy Jackson press.

"So, what else did you guys do in LA?" I ask him as I readjust my self on him to be more comfortable, "Um , nothing.. I pretty much said it all on FaceTime" he said as he focused on something that was on his phone.

"Oh, I'm really excited for me and you to go to LA in the spring" I say, he nods as he starts typing something on his phone.

"I'm gonna go get a hoodie from your closet I'm freezing" I said as I got up, his eyes still on his phone.

I opened his closet scanning for a hoodie ,I chose this gray cotton one because it looked really comfy.

I wear the hoodie and adjust it as I walk back to walkers bed, I feel something in the front pocket poking my stomach so I dig inside to see what it is.

I pull out a polaroid picture, I flip it over to have a closer look. The corners of my lips curve downwards as I realize who's in the picture.

It's a photo of Walker and my childhood best-friend Sophia , he had his arm around her as they were both smiling.

Sophia lives in LA , I haven't seen her  in a while. Why wouldn't she tell me she was with Walker? Why didn't Walker tell me he saw her? Were they hiding something?

I look up to Walker and obviously he was still too busy on his phone. "Are you serious right now Walker?" I scoff.

"What?" He looks up , his body tensed up once he saw the polaroid in my hand. "Why didn't you tell me you met Sophia? And why are you on your phone texting someone barely acknowledging me when you haven't seen me for almost 2 months!"  I raise my voice.

"Y/n, I promise this is a misunderstanding" He sits up, "I can't believe you... I didn't want to say it but are you cheating on me? Were you texting her this whole time?" I felt my throat burn.

"Y/n! No! I would never cheat on you , I promise it's not what you think we're just friends" He walks over to me.

"Who were you texting just now Walker" I frown as my eyes filled up with tears. He stood there with no response.

"Please , let me see your phone I don't have time for this bullshit" A tear rolled down my cheek as I took his phone from him.

I look at the screen and see "Sophia" as the contact , I give him his phone back as that's all I needed to see.

I shook my head as I start sobbing softly , "Y/n I promise I'm not cheating on you I don't like her like that! She doesn't like me like that" He followed after me as I walk out of his room.

"Just leave me alone" I wipe my tears as I walk into the hallway to Leena's room and knock on her door.

She opens the door , immediately letting me in. "Hey hey what happened what's wrong?" She wiped my tears.

"I dont even know , I think Walkers cheating on me .. with my bestfriend" I break down at the end of my sentence causing her to hug me.

"What?! When did this happen" Leena says in shock , "I just found out , I don't wanna talk about it yet. Can I just stay here in your room for a bit?" I sniffle.

"Of course you can hon" Leena frowned as she hugged me , I hug her back then lean back on one of her pillows.

"I think we should watch some tangled" Leena smiles grabbing the remote on her bedside table , knowing it was my comfort movie.

I smile weakly at her as she started the movie , all I could think about while watching was how Walker could do this to me, and on the day before my birthday too.

WALKERS POV

"Now she thinks I cheated on her with Sophia!" I pinched the bridge of my nose , I was on FaceTime with Aryan and Charlie.

"But I only met up with Sofia in LA to plan Y/n's birthday surprise! And I was texting Sofia asking her about her flight tomorrow, and I didn't know how to explain that to Y/n without ruining the surprise. But I guess I have to tell her, if she'll even talk to me now" I rant.

"I'm sorry bro , that sucks. But once she finds out it's a surprise I'm sure she won't be mad at you. Just explain it to her" Charlie advised.

"Yeah , I think that's your best option for now" Aryan nods.

"Okay , thanks guys. I'll go clear it up with her" I let out a smile. I say bye to the two boys as I hung up.

I got up and started walking to Leenas room , I knocked the door. I hear a bit of noise then I'm met by Leena opening the door.

"I want to talk to Y/n" I tell her as she crosses her arms , she looks back at Y/n on her bed. Y/n slightly nods as she got up and walked over to the door frame.

We walk to my room , I close the door behind me as she walked in.

"What." She stared at me blankly, "Y/n. This was all just a big misunderstanding.. Sophia and I wanted to plan a surprise for your birthday, that's why i was texting her and that's why i met with her" I explained.

"Oh.." She muttered, "Sophia.. likes girls anyway" I say, "Shit she does... I'm an idiot I forgot since i haven't seen her in so long- you were just trying to do something nice and i ruined it" Y/n pinches the  bridge of her nose.

"It's okay, I'm sorry for not giving you enough attention earlier I just wanted to be able to pull off the surprise for you" I smile, "Sophia's coming tomorrow.. I'm still not telling you what we planned though."

"Oh my god... you guys are the best" She pouts as she wrapped her arms around me, resting her head on my chest.

"You deserve that and more Y/n/n" I hug her back as i attack her faces with kisses causing her to giggle.
