My Big Sister: 1

I grew up in a very small village who believes in God. They live for worshipping God. We have at least 4 festivals in a month for God worshipping.

My family isn't very different too. They all believe in God. My house is filled with prayers at dawn. But, still I am afraid to stay in my house alone, especially at night.

And, it's because of my big sister. I never saw her ever since I born. But, I know she's locked up in our out house, near our farm.

I grew up hearing so many scary stories of my own big sister.

When she was born, she looked and smelled very disgusting that dad and grandma threw up at the sight of her, even the old lady who was helping mom in giving birth.

It was spread in the whole village like a wild fire that a disgusting creature was born inside my family. Dad was really ashamed about it since my family had a good status throughout the village.

Dad was about to kill my elder sister by drowing her in the village river, but mom didn't let him do it as after all it was her own kid whom she was carrying for nine months and gave birth.

Due to mom's request, dad let mom take care of the kid, but only at the out house.

After taking caring of the kid, mom had to bath in at least 7 buckets for the disgusting smell to go away.

It was said that the kid sneaked up to our farm and killed our animals time to time. The animals were killed brutally. There was always a large wound in the lower abdomen of each animal as if someone digged through them and ate all of their intestines.

When she was 8, she bitten mom's wrist. She bitten like a hungry animal. The wound was deep. It got infected fastly even after the wound was taken care of. Mom experienced a lot of pain. She couldn't move the hand for nearly 2 weeks and her hand only got recovered after 3 months, only because of the effort of the village doctor. He said the bite was venomous and there was a possibility for mom to die.

That was the last straw for dad. He was again about to kill the kid, but mom stopped him.

After that incident, dad locked up my big sister and no one was allowed to see her, even mom. They started giving her food and water through the little dog door placed below the big one.

Since then, nobody saw her.

My parents are out of town for next three days. My granny is sick (mother's mom) and they went to stay with her and look after her for few days.

This is the first time I am gonna stay nights at my home alone. Cause, even if my parents were not home, grandma (dad's mom) was always with me, but unfortunately she passed away one year ago.

And moreover, this is the first time I am going to bring food for my elder sister.
