It's 3.30pm , as the sun dipped below the horizon, a text from Hyunjin lit up my phone screen, asking me to meet him in the abandoned lecture room that he and his friends had claimed as their own private sanctuary. Curious, I made my way to our rendezvous spot, finding Hyunjin already waiting for me with a warm smile.
"So why did you want us to meet?", I asked him. He stood up from were he was sitting and simply grabbed my hand and led me to the back of the room, my gaze fell upon the site of Hangul text books and snacks laid out on the table before us. With a gentle hand, Hyunjin guided me to a seat,
"To study" he said in a soft tone. "We are going to prepare for your Korean language proficiency exam.", he sayes smiling at me.

I couldn't hide my delight at his thoughtful gesture, feeling a rush of gratitude wash. His teaching methods were simple yet effective, and with his guidance, I found myself grasping concepts that had once seemed daunting.

After about three hours of intense studying, we took a well-deserved break, indulging in a hearty chat over a shared snack. With each passing moment, I found myself opening up to Hyunjin, talking about my life back home and how I missed my family and friends. And in return, he shared glimpses of his own life, painting a picture of a person far removed from the stereotypes of the rich elite.

In Hyunjin's presence, I felt a sense of ease and comfort that I had never experienced before. He didn't judge me or expect anything from me, he simply accepted me for who I was, flaws and all.

As our study session came to an end, Hyunjin accompanied me back to my dorm, his gentle pat on the head a silent reassurance that everything would be okay. With a grateful smile, I bid him goodnight and slipped into the warmth of my room, where Jessie awaited me with eager anticipation.
"So how was your date" she said to me teasingly.
" it wasn't a date he was helping me study". I responded taking a sit beside her.
She is working on her assignments and since they are too much I offer her a helping hand we spent the evening assisting each other . The next few weeks flew by in a blur of study sessions, volleyball practices, and moments of growing camaraderie with Hyunjin. Our study sessions had become a regular occurrence, and with each meeting, our bond deepened. Hyunjin's dedication to helping me with my Korean exam was unwavering, and I found myself looking forward to our time together more and more.

One Friday evening, after a particularly grueling volleyball practice, I received another text from Hyunjin.

"Meet me at the rooftop of the arts building. I have a surprise for you."

Excited and curious, I quickly showered and changed before heading over. As I climbed the stairs to the rooftop, I could hear the faint strains of music drifting down. Pushing open the door, I stepped out into the cool evening air and found Hyunjin standing by a small setup with a portable speaker and a cozy blanket laid out on the ground.

"What's all this?" I asked, a smile tugging at my lips.

"I thought you could use a break," he replied, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "And maybe a little bit of fun."

He gestured for me to sit down on the blanket, and I did, feeling the tension of the day start to melt away. Hyunjin joined me, and as we sat side by side, he handed me a cup of hot chocolate.

"I remembered you said you missed home, so I thought we could have a little rooftop picnic and listen to some of your favorite music," he explained.

Touched by his thoughtfulness, I took a sip of the hot chocolate, the warmth spreading through me. We spent the next hour talking about everything and nothing, the city lights twinkling below us. It felt like we were in our own little world, far removed from the stresses of university life.
