Hello friends! It has been a long time since I posted a new chapter and my readers are complaining that they have started to forget the story! Oh c'mon, seriously? Anyways, I've decided to give a quick review of the story. So here is a recap of the entire story of The Potter Chronicles uptil now.

The Prologue is set in 1381 AD, wherein a woman, Eliza Flamel finds a child in a basket floating in the river Thames. There is a glowing locket on the child's chest, which centuries later, would be known as "The sign of The Deathly Hallows". Who Eliza is, who that child is, all will be revealed later in the story.

The actual story starts in the present time. It has been 20 years since the end of the wizard war and the magical world lies at peace. One day, the Minister of Magic, Aberforth Dumbledore meets the muggle Prime Minister of UK and the President of USA to discuss some political issues. But unfortunately, the meeting was a setup and the Minister of Magic is captured by the muggles.

The story then flashes back to a week from the capture. Neville Longbottom, the headmaster of Hogwarts calls for a reunion of all his batch-mates. Harry Potter, 38, and his friends travel to Hogwarts for the reunion. Harry is an Auror and an honorary Quidditch coach for the UK team by profession.

The reunion is quite grand. Hogwarts has changed a lot. Harry's batch-mates are getting back with each other, rekindling old memories. In the reunion, Neville asks Harry to accompany him to the headmaster's office. Once they are there, Neville shows him a sinister message. The message is from Cho Chang, a fellow batch-mate of theirs. She worriedly had told Neville "Make sure Harry has the owl" and then cut off. Neither Neville, nor Harry could understand what it meant. The reunion ends and everyone returns happily.

Then three days before the capture, Harry has a nightmare of The Dark Lord, in his sleep. No, his scar isn't burning and neither is it a sign of the re-birth of Voldemort. They are just plain nightmares of the horrific moments of the last wizard war. Harry's nightmares have been more frequent now.

So he gets up and does what he usually did after having a nightmare. He takes a fresh dose of cocaine and lets the drug kick in. But in the morning, when Harry wakes up, he is caught by Ginny. Apparently he had forgotten to put the drugs back in a safe place. There is a quarrel between them, after which Ginny leaves.

Harry opens his muggle PC idly and sees that there is an e-mail notification. The e-mail is from Cho Chang! The e-mail says "Don't believe in anything that they'll say! Get disappeared!" Harry couldn't make a head or toe of what it meant. Then, a day before the capture, Harry is sitting in his Auror's office, thinking about Cho's mysterious e-mail, when he gets an urgent call from Aberforth Dumbledore, the Minister of magic. Harry arrives to the Minister of Magic's office to see Aberforth, and Cadillio Cruz, a fellow Auror.

Aberforth tells them both that he had arranged a meeting with the muggle Prime Minister of UK and the President of USA, but his sources say that they were planning to capture him. Harry and Cadillio both are shocked. Aberforth then proposes Harry to go in the meeting as a polyjuice decoy instead of him and check whether the Intel is correct. Aberforth asks Cadillio to stay back and keep tabs on Harry as he goes. Harry agrees to the proposal.

(From here on, the story essentially bifurcates into two parts, one focuses on Harry Potter and the other on Aberforth, Neville and Ron.)

On the day of the capture, Harry dresses himself as Aberforth and drinks the Polyjuice Maximus potion (which keeps the polyjuice effect for a very long time.) He is polyjuiced into Aberforth. Then Aberforth gives him a very bitter potion and say that it would prevent any side effects of the polyjuice maximus potion. Harry drinks it as well. Then Harry goes in the meeting with the Prime Minister of UK and the President of USA. So the actual Minister of Magic in Chapter 1: The Capture is not Aberforth, but Harry Potter (in case you haven't figured it out yet :p).
