When waking up again, he found himself looking up to see open, clear skies. Still no one around. Was he hallucinating that embrace from before? But, it felt so real, like someone was really there, comforting him. The voice was so clear, like they were really talking to him. It felt like it did happen. But, the doubt poured into his thoughts, there was no way someone would help him here and now.

He soon gets up, but doesn't leave the city in fear of another attack. At least then, he could also figure out his body and powers while he was here. It was short lived however, as he learned, the souls would sabotage him in new ways. Summoning attacks, blocking access to the save files, trip him, and so on. Finding more pleasure in his misery. He could feel the souls in him tearing him to bloody pieces before resetting to the most recent save. It was until two of the souls started freaking out, glitching and cracking, causing him and the other souls to stop and him to fall back onto the ground from the pain, remembering how they got like this in the first place.

After the two unstable souls calmed down and recovered, a new painful sensation started to infect his being: hunger. Since he took over the human's body, he lost the advantages of Photosynthesis, luckily there was vegetation flourishing everywhere. The souls hated the taste, and fought him. Not wanting to eat the disgusting moss. As they fought, he was getting desperate, hungrier. It wasn't much, but it was still nourishment. The souls were stubborn, but they eventually gave up fighting, knowing they'll die with him if they let him starve. So they let him eat the moss. It tasted horrible, but at this point, it didn't matter. It was something at least.

As the day went on, each of the souls made him enter each of their old homes, realizing how close they lived to each other. It was a nice break from being sabotaged and attacked out of nowhere. Learning more about the lives of each child that he was fused with. From apartments, to homes in the outskirts, he was only along the ride of the nostalgia trip as the souls conversed with each other. It felt like sitting alone while a group of friends were talking amongst themselves. He could see the sun setting through one of the windows, so he offered to sleep in one of the rustic beds that were left behind to collect the dust. But, the souls snapped at him, telling him he didn't deserve such pleasures and that he is never to be allowed to sleep in any of their beds. He tried to retaliate, but stopped from feeling painful stinging in his arm. He looked to see a knife, lodged deep into his arm. Before he could do anything, the knife twists, causing him to scream in pain as the knife pulls out and vanishes into thin air. The souls laughed at his pain, two hands appeared and dragged him out of the house they were currently exploring in.

The laughing continued as he started to cry once more while covering his bleeding arm. Giving no release from the pain since they blocked his save files again. Was this it? A life being wasted being tortured until death takes its toll? Or has he been dead all this time and is in hell for his sins? Bad people can't change no matter how hard they try, that's what makes people like him so unforgivable. The fact that he was the villain of another story and that's what the souls will forever see him as. He is just another Flowey. Another soulless monster that cares not for anyone else other than himself. The very creature any human needs to look out for or else they fall from the "Friendliness Pellets."

Another day ends in misery, sleeping in the cold, yet comforting ground. Though, without any roots, he couldn't burrow or faze through the ground in any way. Missing the days of the underground where he had free reign to wherever he pleased and not being bothered unless he wanted to speak with someone. He even missed the days where he and his family were happy and having a good time. Those memories of home were long gone. Meaning no more of his mom giving him pie, no more silly chats with Papyrus or Sans, no more watching Mettaton's shows, no more play time with his human sibling... No more peace...
