Bet ya didn't expect this, did ya?

Shannon parked her car, she looked at the sight infront of her, a hotel. She got out the car and walked around to her sons car door, she quietly opened it, leaning down to kiss the sleeping boys head. Gently she unbuckled him from his booster seat and gently lifted him up into her arms, he had a soft grasp on bunnies hand. She held one of her arms under his thighs as she closed the door, letting her other hand rest on his back as she walked to the reception.

The reception looked up at the chime of the bell. "Do you have a booking, Ma'am?" Was the first thing she said. "..Ah.. No.." Shannon replied. "Do you have any availability for the night?" She asked. The receptionist scanned her computer before looking back. "One room, it has one single bed." Shannon sighed and nodded. "That's fine. How much is it for the night?" "1,766.42 Russian Ruble." (I headcannon Shannon and Zander are both fully Russian, here's the translation: £15 or $19.09)

Shannon nodded as she dug through her purse, finding the needed amount and sliding it on the desk. The clearly tired receptionist just hummed as she took the last keys off the hook and handed them to her.

Shannon made her way through some double doors, luckily their room was the first floor. She walked into the room, nothing special, small, cramped, and one single bed, just as the woman said. Gently she laid her baby on the bed, gently tucking him in. "Sweet dreams Baby... I'm sorry mummy wasn't strong enough to leave earlier... I'm sorry I... I'm sorry for scaring you baby..." She whispered sadly. She scared him. The one thing she vowed to never do, she did anyways. She took her new phone out of her purse, her new iPhone 2G. She opened the phone as she began googling. She didn't want to stay in this country anymore. She wanted her son and herself to have a new life, to never look back. This was an impulsive decision she was making, she hadn't thought it through at all, but before she knew it, she was sending an immigration request to the American government.
