2022: I began writing poems, and yes, it was out of the blue.
At first, I was just writing about money and cars, and I didn't have a clue.
Poems were and still are a mystery that I felt I had to solve, like Nancy drew.2023: I decided to write my first meaningful poem, "BOTH SIDES OF A SMILE."
I remember Mike and Jane read it, and personally, I felt like I was on the right side of a smile.
I wrote a couple of other poems, and in two months, I had a pile.
Our prayer day ceremony was around the corner, and I wrote "4 YEARS" as a trial. On prayer day, I was one of the hosts, and I was so happy to see my brother.
But more importantly, I was so excited for my poem to be read by Val in front of my mother.
And you don't know how happy I was to see the smile worn by my father.2024: Everyone turned a chapter in their life, and I decided to make my own chapter and wrote my first book.
"WORDS HAVE WISDOM" had 18 poems, and compared to other books, it had a different look.
Before all of this, though, I tried writing a novel, BIANCA, but maybe it was the wrong option I took.'WORDS HAVE WISDOM' topped the charts, and now here I am. I've learnt to cherish God more.
The 6th commandment says do not murder, but I killed my wordplay. I guess I didn't abide by the law.
On a serious note, though, thank you to everyone who supported me and never threw my work on the floor.~Keero~
