Jay squints as the beams of light scatter into the walls of the rotted wood he must of nested in for that night, stretching his mandibles and forcing the electricity in his brain to move he scuttles out to find out where he is. His camera was in front of the stump, it's almost like it was waiting for him. Like muscle memory he turns it on and mounts it onto his thorax.

Rosswood, it's a gicantic park, even from a birds view its mazes are seemingly infinite and vast, its overwhelming to think about so Jay ignores this and tries to asses where he is, he notices movement behind the grass and moves towards it  for any kind of clue to where he might

As he gets to the clearing in the grass the culprit of the movement is illuminated by the light reaching its way through the leafs

Tim cringes as the light of day shackles him into consciousness, the comfort of sleep escaping by the second. Fuck where is he, he scans his surroundings, Then he notices Jay, what the hell? As if this couldn't get worse, can't this freak leave me alone?

"What are you doing here?"

Jay looks confused at the question, he turns and looks at the direction he came from

"I don't know"  he didn't notice until now but he's  kinda out of breath, "I woke up in there"

Tim trudges over to where Jay gestured to, and feels the area around with his antenna, the textures being foreign and unfamiliar

"Where are we?"

He waddles passed Jay trying his best to stay upright. Jay knows the awnser but the words come out more pained than he had meant it.

"I think where still in Rosswood"

Tim is now over by the stump Jay woke up in, he studies it a bit, before brushing it off, any thought he tried to form not being able to stand strong at the momment .

Jay speaks again, reaffirming his suspicions

" but not a part I've ever been in"

Tim sees a opening in the brush up ahead and staggers towards it, Jay looks at what Tim was studying and can't find anything significant, he looks back and Tim is gone, the sudden isolation spiking a wierd separation anxiety, he didn't want to be alone out here, he calls out to Tim.

"Wait!"

He pushes through the dead leaves and branches blocking his path, and the pathway up ahead was brought into view, it was stream that cut through an opening into the trees. Tim crouches lower to the ground and lowers his head. He's trying to form a thought of how or why he's out here, but gets up when he hears Jay scuttling towards him.

Jays tries his best to speak, but the struggle through the brush had left him winded

"My- *inhale* my camera was just in front of me"

Tim looks at the trail ahead, seeing if he can see an end to the stream above him. Jay speaks again

"Wh- woke up"

Jay is trying his best to catch his breath

Tim turns towards his direction but doesn't face Jay directly.

" still working?"

He looks behind jay scanning the other side of the forest before he looks at him, he's not exactly suspicious of him doing anything bad anymore, but he's still pissed at him for lying about before, but he can tell there in the same boat, what's important is getting out of here now.

"Yeah but-" he takes another breath " the battery's almost dead"

And just like clockwork the camera beeps off

Tim scoffs " great"
