Faking it? Walker x Leah

Walkers POV

I had just wrapped an arm around Leah's waist, when I heard the click. I knew that it was gonna come back to get me, but I was so happy and content in that moment, I couldn't bring myself to care.

Time skip to morning 

I woke up to my phone dinging with a million notifications, but when I looked over and saw Leah sleeping peacefully in my arms, I decided that I just couldn't get up yet.

I set my head back down on my pillow, and attempted to go back to sleep, but before I could, Leena barged into my room, and hit me with a pillow.

" Leena, what the actual hell, it's like 7 am" I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes

" Actually genius, it's 11, you and your little girlfriend must have been up late" She said with a smirk

" She's NOT my girlfriend, Leena" I said with a blush on my face

No matter how much I want her to be

Leena cackled, " You said that out loud idiot"

I could feel my cheeks go nuclear 

" That still doesn't change the fact that she's not my girlfriend" I said trying to save myself 

" So you just happened to sleep in the same bed, cuddling, together, all night" she said with a hand on her hip

" Umm, yes?" I said 

"Umm hmm" she said

" Well wake your little girlfriend up, moms taking us to breakfast" she said walking out of the room

Once she left, I flopped back onto the bed for a couple of minutes before I finally decided to wake Leah up.

" Leah, Leah, wake up" I said softly

She opened her eyes, and smiled.

" Good morning Walker" she said with sleep still in her voice

" Morning, we slept in really late, my mom is taking us to breakfast" I said

" Sounds good" she said, sitting up 

I started to get up to go to the bathroom, when I heard Leah's voice call out my name

" Hey Walker" she said quietly 

" Yeah" I said turning around 

" Thanks for staying with me" she said

I smiled

" No problem, I liked it" I said

Only when she blushed, did I realize that I said that out loud 

Damn, I really got to work on that

But then she said,

" Uh yeah, me too" she said with a small smile

I smiled back at her, and then walked into the bathroom 

Only then did I check why I had so many  

" LEENA, YOU ARE SO DEAD"

" What, what" I heard as Leah ran into the bathroom 

I showed her the phone

( Y'all, I have been trying for 20 minutes to get pictures to upload. Please, for the sake of my sanity please just pretend there is a picture of them cuddling on bed. FOR MY SANITY 🙏

" LEENA, YOU ARE SO DEAD"

Time skip

" So, how did everyone sleep" Mom asked, while on the way to breakfast 

Leena started cracking up

" I know Walker and Leah slept well" Leena said

Floyd and my mom made a confused face, then Leena showed them her post. Floys sarted grinning, and Mrs. Scobell made an amused face, that then turned into a stern expression 

" You two didn't-" she started

" NO" Me and Leah said at the same time 

My mom nodded, and Leena and Floyd just continued laughing

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was pouring down rain

So obviously, me being me, I decided I was going to make it a race

"And 3,2,1, GO" and we all raced out of the car

Floyd won obviously, but me and Leah came a close second. When we went inside the diner, all you could hear all around the room was the sound of squeaky shoes, from the rain

" Uhh, I hate that sound" me and Leah said at the same time

We both blushed and looked down, while Leena started cackling 

" And THAT is why we ship y'all"

The waiter led us to a booth in the back. Me and Leah got sweet tea, and pancakes with wept cream and strawberries. Floyd, Leena, and Mom all got coffee and waffles.

Me and Leah talked the entire time until our food came. I really like talking to her. We've only known each other for like, a week, but we're already best friends.

When we all finished eating I remembered that I saw an arcade just 2 doors down from the diner.

" Hey Leah, do you wanna go to arcade, it's just 2 doors down from here?" I asked

" Sure, sounds fun" she said smiling 

I smiled back

" I saw a record shop a couple doors down the other direction, I think I'll head there" my mom said

" Oooh, I think I'll join you. I've been searching for Reputation to complete my Taylor Swift collection" Leena said

" Soo, my choices are 3rd wheel their date, or assist in a Taylor Swift vinyl search." Floyd said 

" Yup, and you're coming with me. I need all the eyes I can get" Leena said 

 I grabbed Leah's arm, and pulled her out the door.

 "We will back in an hour" I said, pulling her out into the pouring rain

When we arrived at the arcade we were both soaking wet. I noticed that Leah was shivering, and I did the gentleman thing to do.

" You want my hoodie" I asked her

She smiled, " Thanks Walker" she said

I smiled back

" Don't think this means I still won't CRUSH you at arcade games" I said wit a smirk

She cracked her knuckles 

" Your SO on"
