taehyung admired jungkook and not because he was a great prince or the way he looks, just the way he presented himself as a prince and the way he treated the village as if they weren't some commoners below his level, the way even before they met, he'd always took a peek out of the window to see his face before opening the shop. so you can imagine his surprise when jungkook almost fell and he was there to catch him. his cheeks heated as he tried to show no emotion as he helped him.

he was lucky, someone like jungkook befriend him. he was just a commoner with big dreams he knew he couldn't achieve. he wanted to travel the world build his own farm with strawberries maybe even own some of his own land and animals. but he was stuck here in a bakery where he was born to tend these crops. he didn't hate it but he just wanted more. the most he could do was let jungkook try his bread he made by himself. god forbid if he hated he would die. but fortunately for him he didn't it was like a blessing for him.

the more him and jungkook talked the more they became comfortable with eachothers presence. him being a commoner and jungkook being a prince didn't matter, it was like they knew eachother for so long. taehyung hated to say it but he was falling for the prince. he knew it was wrong. not just because he knew it would never happen as jungkook was the prince jeon jungkook but he knew it would never happen. him and jungkook would eventually get married to other people and part ways with each other most likely never speaking again. that's how it was supposed to be.

so what was taehyung was supposed to do when jungkook held his hands into his own and was looking at him like he was devoted to him. like he'd do anything for him, could taehyung do the same? could he reciprocate the same feelings that jungkook was feeling.

it was now later that night, taehyung was cleaning the back garden thinking, what would of happened if he said something back. would it even matter it wouldn't have been accepted no matter what. "taehyung!! taehyung come here." he heard his mother scream, taehyung eyes widened he took off his gloves and stumbled his way through the back doors of the bakery. "yes mother whats-" he stopped midway as he saw who it was. it was him.

jungkook ordered a carriage immediately and was on his way to taehyung, he was fidgeting and nervously bounced his leg as he didn't know what to do. i mean he knew what to do but didn't know how he should do it. he saw taehyungs parents bakery and prepared himself it was sprinkling a little and noticed taehyungs mother outside putting on a tarp in front of the shop. he quickly open the carriage as he heard his name yelling from the guards, he ran up to the shop immediately and stopped taehyungs mother from closing the door. she yelped as she had her heart on her chest.

"my god!" -oh my, prince jeon my apologies." she bowed jungkook shook his head panting "no i apologize i frightened you i'm sorry, i uhh.." he cleared his throat "if it's possible, is taehyung around i'd like to speak with him." "oh, why yes of course come inside it's going to start pouring any minute." she guided jungkook inside. "i'll be just a minute" she went through the corridor doors and heard his mother scream his name. she came back with a smiled and smiled back. "sorry that's the only way to get his attention, would like some tea?" "no thank you, i'm alright." he smiled back and took a deep breath until he saw him.

"yes mother whats-" he heard taehyung speak until they locked eyes.

taehyung didn't know how to react he couldn't look away. and neither could jungkook. they both looked perplexed before they both spoke at the same time

"jung-"
taehgung waited for a moment and then spoke again "prince jeon," taehyung bowed, "to what do i owe the pleasure?" "i uh."
