Marleigh is still avoiding Maya at all costs. The only time they spoke was about work other than that Marleigh would walk away when she saw Maya walking towards her or would dismiss it when Maya said they needed to talk.

She hasn't been home since she took her key back off Thomas as she is scared he would have found a way in and would be waiting for her or he would break in whilst she was asleep.

So, Marleigh has been staying at a hotel for the past week. She would have stayed at Maya's but that would mean talking which would lead to arguments so she settled for a hotel.

"Explain to me why you're still avoiding Maya." Vic said once Marleigh pulled her away from reception once Maya walked in.

"She didn't believe me when i said i was fine so i snapped and said something i was planning on never telling anyone and she didn't believe that either." Marleigh explained.

"That... doesn't explain why you're avoiding her." Vic said confused.

"She wants to talk but i don't want to talk to her." Marleigh shrugged.

"Okay. You have to talk to her at some point. I mean, you guys work together, you sisters." Vic said.

"Are you on my side or her?" Marleigh crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yours. Always yours. All i'm saying is maybe it's better to talk to her. That way you won't have to avoid her." Vic suggested.

"No, because then i'd have to confront her and i don't like confrontation and then there will be arguments, which i'm sick of." Marleigh sighed.

"So you're just going to ignore her... forever?" Vic asked.

"Mm. Pretty much." Marleigh hummed.

"You are impossible." Vic chuckled.

Marleigh grinned.

"Marleigh, can we talk?" Marleigh heard maya say from behind her. Her eyes widened.

"No." Marleigh said and sent Vic a look to help her. Vic shrugged.

"Fine. I want to talk." Maya said.

"Well, i don't." Marleigh huffed.

"We need to talk." Maya reworded it.

"No we don't. I told you something i shouldn't have and you didn't believe me. What's there to talk about?" Marleigh turned to face maya, arms crossed over her chest.

"Look-" Maya started.

"No, Maya. We are at work... we are busy doing work. We don't have time to talk." Marleigh groaned and pulled Vic with her into the locker room.

Maya sighed and went to find Andy.

"Have you spoken to Marleigh?" Maya asked Andy.

"No. I think she's avoiding me." Andy said.

"Yeah, me too. She might be avoiding you because of me." Maya admitted.
