'나비 ; nabi. a butterfly, god's creature with its purpose to help flowers to flourish beautifully. a living being to also indicate infinite freedom to live their own path.'
jungwon skimmed through the hallways, never this determined to go to the cafeteria in his life. it wasn't a suitable place for him that prefers a quiet, silent place for him to relax his mind. he fidgeted with the hem of his school jacket, a slight nervousness spread across his face.
"what? you want jaeyun to bring the transferee with him tomorrow?"
jungwon answered with a hum, placing the homemade bone soup his brother had made before going out for work. sunghoon thanked him, picking up his spoon to dig in the mouth watering dish.
"but why? you're not really interested in jaeyun and niki, let alone a new guy?" sunghoon questioned with his mouth full of rice.
jungwon pursed his lips, picking the right excuse he could bring up.
"i like his name."
sunghoon gagged whilst drinking the cold water, spitting it out as it splashed onto jungwon's sweater.
"my god are you serious? i just washed this yesterday!" jungwon glared at the bashful guy infront of him, as he shivered freezing from the cold liquid. he ran to the laundry basket, discarding the sweater and wore a new washed t-shirt instead.
"sorry- but your answer was just ridiculous. because of his name? you're being really weird jungwon." the dimpled guy just shrugged as he sat down on the other side, having a spoonful of the meal.
"please." sunghoon saw the desperate eyes that pleaded at him, he couldn't resist. how could he? this was a rare sight, yang jungwon asking for help from him.
"i swear people around me ask for the randomest things."
jungwon brought out two metal lunchbox, opening it as the smell of the kimchi fried rice with goey cooked egg on top of it hits his nostrils. he pushed them aside, right infront of sunghoon.
"here. jay hyung asked to pass it on to you." sunghoon wiggled his eyebrows, leaving a playful nudge at jungwon.
"i told you so, your brother definitely likes me back." he reasoned, inhaling the delicious scent of the homemade lunch made specifically for him.
"you do know he does this because you're my only friend and he thinks that i'm a loner." sunghoon shook his head at his friend's statement, denying that it was actually because of the other idea.
"ayee! is that kimchi fried rice? let me have a bite!" jaeyun plopped down beside sunghoon, grabbing the utensils before sunghoon could stop him from poking the yellow yolk. both of them fought about how kimchi fried rice tasted better either with mixing the yolk or not.
jungwon looked around, only to see riki and jaeyun that came to them. his eyes showed a glint of displeased, searching for a specific guy.
"where's the transferee?" jungwon accidentally let his mouth slipped, his eyes still wandering around the cafeteria.
"he was going to the infirmary, helping a teacher with some boxes." riki answered sitting right next to jungwon as he stole a small bite from sunghoon's lunchbox that sunghoon cussed him out for.
