'love; a passion of a soul whose longing for honesty.'
the breeze flew by, the flowers followed and the sky illuminated it's beautiful blue color. two little innocent kids sat down under the shady tree, on top of the village's hill. doing their own thing, the vacant space between them vanished everytime both of them scooted closer.
"do you know what these are called?" jungwon held out the yellow handmade keychain, as it appears to be the wings of a butterfly. the keychain was very detailed, glossed all over prettily.
sunoo eyes glimmered at the object, his hands reaching for the keychain but jungwon quickly held him back by stopping him by the head.
sunoo couldn't dot on what the name was, his temple furrowed and creating multiple lines. his head was about to explode just by trying to come out with a name.
"a buttercup clover maybe? i don't know this one!" sunoo, still tried his best to reach out for the keychain yet failed miserably. jungwon shook his head, bringing down the keychain to both their eye level.
"this is the clouded yellow butterfly, a butterfly that's commonly found in europe." now, it was jungwon's turn to speak with an excited tone as his hands spun the keychain around.
"a yellow butterfly indicates the meaning of hope, transformation, positivity and...yearning love for someone." jungwon's voice lowered at the very last word, yet sunoo heard it all.
"love?" he tilted his head to the side, his eyes wandering in jungwon's. the other caught the spit in his throat, accidentally coughing as he quickly looked away. he finally handed one of the keychain to sunoo who received it with utmost joy.
"here. i'm only sharing one with you because you like butterflies too."
"but, promise me that you'll keep it. until the day we die. or even when we get seperated." sunoo pouted,
"why would we get seperated?! don't say such things." he protested at the thought.
"i know, but it's just a 'what if'. i'm not leaving you." jungwon had a small smile when he saw sunoo finally agreeing to his words.
"isn't this an earring though?" sunoo inquired, a little skeptical at jungwon's story. but he always believed in jungwon's word, everything.
"wait is it...nevermind! it's still a keychain to me!" weirdly, this turned into an immature arguement between the two of them. trying to win over something so ridiculous, kids.
"stop! ugh... just give it to me if you don't want it." jungwon voice could be heard in a sulky manner, which sunoo almost cooed. he swiftly jumped from jungwon who tried taking the keychain, or earring back.
