The Love Blooming In Us

First Day...

Waking up early in the morning is something I am not fond of. But being late on my first day is just unacceptable. As it is the first day of my highschool, my heart is filled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. Just not to get late I Hopped out of my bed and headed straight to the bathroom to wash up.

I quickly wore my beautiful uniform, styled my hair and made my way to the dining table for a savored breakfast,fueling myself for the new day.

"Do you want me to drop you off?"dad asked."Oh come on, das I am not a kid I can find my way." "Okay, but be careful on your way",mom shouted and as I grabbed my back pack, my phone, and put my earphone in my ears ready to listen the upbeat music on my way. "Enjoy your day, Love you" "Love you too", I shouted as I closed the door behind me

Taking the warmth of the rising sun and crisp morning air I am going to walk to school as it's just at a small distance.I strolled along the way, with a sense of empowerment and a touch new of nervousness, eagerly envisioning the new experiences that lay ahead.

As I walked into the crowded halls of my new high school I could already feel the excitement bubbling inside me. And as I made my way to a my locker, I couldn't help but notice him standing a few feet away from me. He seemed to be in his own world, lost in thoughts.

l couldn't resist the urge to tease him. Walking towards him, I tapped his shoulder. "Hey there! you seems to be lost, need some help finding your way around?" I asked with a mischievous grin.

"Actually, I'm quite familiar with the layout of this school. But thank you for your Concern." he replied without looking at me. "Ooh, you're a smart one, huh, I like that,"I said with amusement twinkling in my eyes. He turned to face me, with a calm and collected demeanor. He looked at me and without saying anything, continued walking down the hall.

I shrugged to myself & headed towards my locker finding Lily, my best friend waiting for me there ." Hey, you look amazing as usual!" "Well, a little bit of fabulousness never hurt". I flashed a mischievous smile to her. And we made our way to the Classroom.

As I entered the class, I saw Austin standing at the window so I made my way to him with twinkling eyes, "well, well, well, look who's here, the great Austin Davis is in my class. Shouldn't you feel blessed to be in the same class as mine. It seems like you can't handle the excitement of the High school, right Davis?"
He rolled his eyes and pretended not to hear me walking away with his head held high. A smirk made his way on my face knowing that I got under his skin.

I don't know why but it is always fun to tease him. Annoying him just give me a different satisfaction. Maybe it is how he answer me back or make different expressions or act like he doesn't care. But I am quite sure he silently love this, right or not?

The bell rang, And we all got seated when the teacher entered the class. Soon the class begins...

At lunchtime, I and Lily were sitting together at cafeteria
"Do you have any plan for this weekend?" she asked
"Well not really, I was thinking to solve the maths problems."
"Really!!! mia on a weekend. You are wasting your weekend on maths?"
"Why do you have any plans?"
"I am going to Ethan's birthday party this Saturday. And you are coming with me, right?"
"Ethan... Are you talking about the one who used to sticked with Davis all day, the only human Austin talk to?"
"Yea"
"Is he also in our school, I didn't find him today in the class?"
"Actually he will join the class from tomorrow, he was out of the town today for some reason. So you are coming with me."
It was a statement and not a question.
I thought for a while and then agreed to it.
I can solve maths problems on Sunday too.

As we got up I couldn't help but look at the figure sitting alone at a nearby table, engrossed in a book. I handed my plate to Lily and walked to him.

"Hey Davis", I called out. "Too busy studying to join the rest of humanity at lunch?"
He glanced up, "I find peace in books."
"Ohh, I understand. We all have our own ways of finding peace. Continue finding peace in your book. But don't forget to go home or else aunt Jules will be worried. Do you want me to drop you off to your home?"
I asked with a grin on my face.
"Thanks for the concern but I am good. Now can you just leave me alone? Thank you"
"Ohh your welcome, I guess."

And the bell rang signaling the lunchtime is over. He got up from his seat. And then we both ran hoping to enter the class before the teacher does.
Thankfully we were on time. We both got seated and the teacher started teaching.

The final bell rang, signaling the end of the day. We all packed our bag and started to leave the class.
"You are coming to the party,right? you agreed on it." Lily spoke as we made our way down the stairs.
"Yess Lily, I told you for a hundered time now."

As we were out of the school, I bid a bye to Lily as we take different routes for our homes. Making my way home, my mind is buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

Coming home I sat on my desk thinking about the long day and eager to see where my journey would take me.

Mom called me out for dinner. And I ate it silently. Mom was going to eat with Dad, as he still has some work to be done and was going to be late

As soon as I finish my dinner, mom told me to sleep early as I have school tomorrow. I came to my room and lied on my bed replaying all the events and talks of the long day I spent.

I couldn't help but think about Austin. Like how calm he is. He is the opposite version of aunt Jules. I think maybe he went on his dad. I heard his dad was very disciplined, calm and was a real gentleman.

But I don't know why he likes to be alone all time. Sometimes is understandable but always is just... If a person wants to score more marks than me they has to study all day but he is Austin Davis he doesn't require you to do the same he himself is bookworm.

There is something about him that makes me want to talk to him, to get to know him better. Is this a wrong thing to do? No right, like even if we always fight for the top grades but ... Okay I don't know... Ahh! Let it be. Why I am thinking about him. There's no need. Even if he is handsome, excels studies, has a calm behaviour and...
No mia noooo. Just sleep.

I closed my eyes and sleep took me in.
