Hiddenville. Population 1,405. The worst place for an aspiring writer to move to with her family. But things changed, and things got moved around, and now I'm stuck here. And sometimes days feel like weeks.
"Oh come on Chloe, you'll like hiddenville... your dad and I already met a few people around town!"My mother uneasily said to me as I laid on the couch.
"And I don't believe that. You wanna know why? You've said that about every other place we've ever lived." I rolled my eyes.
My mom bit her lip.
"Clo, there's a family across the street with two kids your age that I'm sure you'll love. " When I didn't respond, she added on.
"Please Chloe. Make some friends, for Tyler." The mention of Tyler made my eyes well up.
"I'll visit them tomorrow." I whispered, and my mom smiled.
"I have to go to work, but can you unpack these boxes?" I nodded, and shut the door on her way out. It was awfully breezy.

I didn't want to unpack boxes, no matter how little the number. So I decided to walk over to the neighbors house like my told me to. There honestly was nothing else to do. Shops were miles away, we had enough food.
The door was already opened, so I quietly stepped in.
"Hello? My names Chloe... Chloe Smith, I'm your new neighbor?" I said uneasily, and rolled my eyes at myself.
"A non super!" A man whispered quietly. I raised an eyebrow and stepped closer.
"Shut up Hank, now the girl probably heard you." A woman whispered tilting her head at me, but then noticed I was listening. She kicked her husband in the knee, and laughed.
"Hey sweetheart! Sorry about that my husband was talking about his favorite hero show," She rolled her eyes pointed to him and laughed, " Well that was a lovely introduction... I'm Barbra, Barb, if you will, and we are the Thundermans!" She beamed and stuck out her hand.
"I'm Chloe... I lived down the street with my mom and dad." I tried to smile politely.
"Here I'll show you the rest of my family... MAX, PHOEBE, HANK,NORA, BILLY! PIZZA!" She hollered and I raised an eyebrow.
"It's the only way to get them down." She smiled uneasily as all the children bolted downstairs.
"Guys this Chloe our new neighbor." Barb smiled.
A middle age boy frowned at me.
"You don't look like pizza." Barb widened her eyes and clamped his mouth shut.
"Thats Billy, and the girl in the bow is Nora, that's Phoebe-"
"Max." The boy said uneasily. He still stuck out his beautiful muscled hand.
I smiled," Chloe." The boy- I mean max smiled his dashing smile, before Phoebe, I think it is,elbowed him in the gut.
"Sorry about him,he's a flirt ."
"An adorable flirt." I beamed, and Max blushed.
"As are you. I mean your not a flirt! Unless you want to be...or do you want to be my-"
"Girlfriend?" I admired his straight forwardness.
He nodded and smiled.
"I'll pick you up at 8." I winked.
