Meanwhile in Heaven...

Amenadiel POV

Amendiel was in charge of the Exterminators, their training, recruiting, everything. After the exterminators returned from Hell, they would gather in the training grounds so he could do a head count. Figure out how many they lost, and of course, they always lost some every year. Mostly 3 to 5. At most 10. However he hasn't even done a head count yet, and he could tell this year was different. His exterminators were coming back more injured than ever before, and after he did a head count, he noticed he lost around 1,000 Exterminators. This alarmed him. There haven't been this many angels killed since the war with his fallen brother, Lucifer.

He asked around for information about what happened. He got various reports, mostly those hearing and feeling a lot of magic coming from one area. One, however, told him something alarming. The angel had told him he was in an area next to the one the magic was coming from, and before it was time to come back, he went to check it out, and what they saw was alarming for sure. They saw Lucifer himself, out killing angels, and that itself wouldn't have gotten Amendiel too alarmed. It was who the angel saw fighting beside Lucifer that had him alarmed. An Angel was fighting alongside Lucifer, who had just fallen, and it was the one that he had recruited himself earlier that year.

Having thanked the angel, he immediately flew off to report this to God. He would have to be informed. This couldn't go unanswered. If this wasn't monitored carefully, there could be another war on their hands.

An Hour later

Amendiel was angry as he stormed out of Gods palace. It was unacceptable! He was ordered to do nothing! Nothing!! Just occasionally watch them?! Thats it! He couldn't accept that. So he planned to do something a bit reckless. He was going to go down to hell himself and confront Lucifer. He needed to make sure there wasn't another war on Heaven's hands.  So he flew off to the portal. He was the only one who had access to it when it wasn't time for his Exterminators to go down to hell after all. He just hoped it wasn't the worst outcome he was fearing...
