I step off the plane at the airport I make it home to my house in my marine uniform I'm 22 years old I was born and raised in North Carolina now I moved to Hawaii I'm enjoying my vacation time before I have to deploy again I unpack my bags and get dressed to run for awhile I head out the door and start running as I was running I was listening to music when I bump into someone before I fell this person catches me
Steve- woah you okay there
Lake- yeah I'm fine thanks I'm sorry for bumping into you
Steve- it's okay it was my mistake I'm commander Steve Mcgarrett
Lake- nice to meet you I'm lake Lockhart
Steve- nice to meet you are you new here
Lake- yeah I am how did you know
Steve- I would have remembered a beautiful girl like you
Lake- right you use that line on all the girls
Steve- just you beautiful so if you want I was born and raised in Hawaii if you want me to give you a tour I'm more than welcome too
Lake- I'll like that thank you
Steve- of course do you have a phone number
Lake- I'll do you one better here's my address if your not doing anything tomorrow morning we can tour around
Steve- yeah tomorrow is perfect is 10 okay
Lake- yes 10 is okay I'll see you tomorrow then
Steve- yeah see you tomorrow bye lake
Lake- bye commander. I waved bye as I continued my run doing a couple more miles once I'm done I head home to take a shower and cuddle with my chocolate lab puppy for the rest of the night
