Steve pov
I toss and turn in bed I can't stop thinking about her I want to know her more I call Joe about it
Joe- hello son is everything okay
Steve- yeah listen um I need you to find someone out for me her name is lake Lockhart
Joe- oh will this lake be someone your seeing
Steve- not really I just meet her a day ago and we went surfing together yesterday I can't stop thinking about her Joe I never felt this way before not even with Catherine
Joe- i understand son well where is she located
Steve- she's in Hawaii and she in the marine corps
Joe-okay let me call some people and if I find anything I'll give you a call
Steve- thanks Joe I own you one
Joe- I know son I know
Steve pov
I get up and go to my bathroom wash my face with cold water I went back to bed to sleep soon after a while it was time to get up for work so I took a cold shower and get dressed and head downstairs to make some breakfast and coffee
Lake pov
I wake up slowly and go into my bathroom for my morning routine after I was done I head downstairs to do some laundry and clean my house up a little once I was done I get a call from my commander
Lake- hello commander jones what can I do for you
Jones- hello lieutenant Lockhart how's Hawaii treating you
Lake- it's good is everything okay
Jones- yes wanted to see if you can come onto base I have an op mission for you I have the file information about this mission it's better to do it in person
Lake- okay been there in 10 minutes
Jones- okay see you soon lieutenant Lockhart bye
Lake- bye. Once the call was done I changed into uniform and head over to base my commander tells me about a mission that's going to take place in Iraq once I get the file my commander tells me to start preparing and training for this mission he dismisses me and I head back home to look over the file more deeply as I was reading the file throughly my phone rings. Steve- hey lake is this a bad time
Lake- hey Steve not at all is everything okay
Steve- yes I was wondering if you wanted to get breakfast together tomorrow if you don't have anything plan
Lake- no I don't sounds good to me so where are we going
Steve- I'm taking you to get the best pancakes on the island
Lake- okay sounds good see you tomorrow Steve good night commander
