EUPHORIA ♡
Closing the door and pushing the door knob, I sighed in relief. That was stressful than I thought. Flashbacks presented the bustling line of customers, and constant pushing and shoving in the restaurant. Chaos. And guess what. I have to do that torture for the rest of my life until I retire. Just great.
The tired feeling washed over me, as I plopped onto my bed, blinking constantly. Maybe a nice long nap will work.
My boss what pretty nice whatsoever. However, I did feel bad for not hanging out with him. I changed into my pj's and pulled the covers over my body.
...
Tap, tap. A sound. I bend up, my eyes darting from the ceiling to the window.
"Who would come to my house at a time like this?" I muttered. I hopped off the bed and opened the window and stuck my head out. No street lights were alive, and the cold wind shot my face. I sighed, "Whoever wants to visit, I'm busy! So leave me alone!" I shouted. That should shut them up. I closed the window and hopped back onto my bed, and drifted._________________________
Thud. CRASH. I shot up from my sleep, as I yelped. That didn't seem like a nice way for someone to go through right after a stressful shift at work.
Thud. Another concerning sound. Immediately a conclusion came to mind. Someone broke in my house.
"Oh my god." I muttered. As the smart woman I was, I immediately locked my bedroom door, using myself as weight on the door incase it got broken down. I clamped a hand on my mouth to shut myself up, still hearing the concerning sounds of crashes and thuds. A sudden voice caught my ears.
"Euphoria. Open the door." A male voice captured my ears, as my eyes widened. No way in heck I will answer that intruder. But that 20 second silence seemed to upper the situation to dangerous.
"Euphoria! Open the door!" The voice shouted more aggressively and loudly. That was enough to trigger me."Nonononono-" I still kept my body weight on the door. At this point, the emergency services is needed. I mean, there's a damn intruder in my house. The fact I haven't seen them yet.
I dashed to the counter to retrieve my phone. Phone, keypad, 911.Well, leaving the door wasn't a great idea.
BARGE. A loud sound of the intruder bashed in. I screamed in fear, finally seeing and recognising the intruder. And, holy moly. Kim.
"Wh- what the hell? Kim, what are you doing in MY house?!" I questioned. I backed up against the wall, phone still in hand. I haven't pressed the call button yet. I saw him chuckle.
"Sorry, is this a bad time?" He smirked as I heard his signature chuckle once again.
"OF COURSE IT IS."
"Quiet, Euphoria." He laid a soft finger on my lips, shutting me up. All I could really do was stare at him in fear and confusion. His smirk soon painted over with an evil smile. Oh. My. God."Just- leave! Why are you even here?" I shouted as I pushed him away, trying to escape as I was about to press call.
And nope. He grabbed my arm, as I instantly stopped. My phone slipping out my hand, as he yanked me close.
"Don't you ever tell your friend, or brother about this. Otherwise, my limits can go over the edge."
...
"What on earth do you-" I got cut off.
"Do. You. Understand." His tone was more threatening than I impressioned. This wasn't my boss.
"Y- yes." I stuttered, as he unwrapped his fingers from my arm. All I could do is fall to the floor and watch him walk out my house.
