EUPHORIA ♡

I have to admit, I had the worst ever shift. Like, ever. My older brother being at the restaurant I work at felt like being in a two hour maths test. But the hours are extended.

I still had the replay stuck in my head when he almost 'accidentally' tripped me up, whilst I was holding a tray of six beer glasses to a party of eight. Thankfully, the Judo movements saved me just in time from dropping all six beers. And oh boy, there's no way I'm forgiving him for that. Ever.

Well, that was yesterday. But today, was surprisingly decent.

"Oi, prawn. Kim and I will be together in my room doing a project for Uni." Evon just walked into my room, without knocking.
"One, don't ever call me a goddamn prawn. Two, knock next time. Have you heard of manners?"
"Shush. Anyway, don't disturb us. Got it?" I snickered, and held my hands infront of me.
"Oh, okay. It's so guaranteed that I'll be asking Kim about my shift schedule and having a convo with him." I said in a sarcastic tone.

Evon just sighed and slapped his forehead.
"I swear to god, Euph. Why are you such a–"
"Says you."
"I didn't even say it yet..."
"Well, twin telepathy. I have a stronger mind than you, moron."
Suddenly, both of us turned around, seeing Kim lean against the door frame, giving both of us a death stare.
"Do you two ever get along?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing and death stare looking more deadly. An average person and drop dead from that stare.
"Euph started it!"
"Evon started it!"

We both pointed at eachother.
"Excuse me? You got in MY room, without knocking!"
"I was only reminding you to not disturb me and Kim."
We both started squabble again, like two cats fighting over a piece of salmon. And Kim was the owner.
"Oh my days, you two quit it," His voice echoed around my room, "Squabble again and I will leave. And you don't want that, right?"
"..."
"..."
"Fine." We both said simultaneously in unison.

A few hours into the day and it felt like absolute heaven without my older brother infiltrating my room 24/7. I could finally work on my assignments and work peacefully.

An unfamiliar door knock made my ears perk up.
"Evon, I swear- not now. I'm trying t-"
"It's just me, Euphoria."
It was Kim. And what the hell, his hair was infront of his face a bit. It made him look beautiful. I couldn't help but feel my own cheeks blossom with blush.

"...Euphoria?"
"Yes?" I snapped out my one minute trance.
"I need a little chat with you, if that's okay."
"Go on."

He closed my bedroom door, and leaned against my desk.
"Have you ever... had a relationship?" He questioned with a slightly serious demeanor. His question made my eyebrows go up.
"Uh... no...?" I answered. He chuckled a little at my response.
"Well, that's g- I mean... that's a little sad, how do you feel about it?"
"Well, I don't mind it... I mean, one boy asked me out in middle school but I declined because he wasn't my type." At least that's what I know. Why is Kim even asking such a question?

And then, the torture began. My older brother barged in once again, without knocking. I can tally all the times he didn't have manners.

"Kim, can you help me with this one-"
"For heaven's sake Evon, knock next time." My eyebrows furrowed, as I threw a death stare at him. He decided to shoot me back with one too.
"Shut up, prawn."
"You shut up, moron!" I could see Kim with his head hung down, with his fingers on his forehead. Now that's the example of a stressful single parent having to deal with two absolutely annoying children. I couldn't help but feel bad for him though.
