{- Yeah, I know. See you later, Al?
- Yes! See me later.}

Alastor headed towards the building where he knew that his friend would be.
He knocked the door, waiting impatiently for her to open.

- Alastor! What a surprise! I hadn't seen you in a while!

- I know, my dear Rosie, I've been busy.

- For seven years! You disappeared.

- I know that too.

- Come in, don't stay out there.
He made what she said, laying down on a sofa.

- Well, how have you been? Everything's all right? - Asked Alastor while shacking his legs like a child.

- It's me who should be making that question. You know my whole life! You know everything that happens!
Alastor laughed.

-Everything's perfectly fine with me.

- Really? You know you can tell me the truth.

- Yes. Really.
Rosie sighed and sat near him.

- Why do you lie, Alastor? We're friends. I trust in you for everything, why don't you do the same? Stop bottling everything... How many people in hell know you truly? Two? I mean, does Mimzy even truly know you?

- ... That's not the point.

- Come on, Alastor, I know you pretty well. You can lie to the whole hell but don't you dare telling me one more time that you're "perfectly fine". I know you're not.

- But I am! Just a little bit tired. You know, sometimes being one of the most powerful beings here, the Radio Demon, is exhausting! Power is-

- Shut up, Al. Stop masking. Everyone has feelings. You don't have to be perfect.-

 My dear, I am perfect!

Rosie sighed again, this time in redemption.
- I give up, Alastor. Do whatever you want. But if you need something... I don't really think you would ever ask for help, actually. See you in Charlie's speech. - Said her, leaving the room.
As soon as Rosie closed the door, Alastor started trembling and opened his smile in despair. Now the only person he could trust had given up and it was all his fault.
He started scratching himself in the arm, leaving red lines among the old scars. He felt like the pain was the only thing that keep him in the world, stopping him from disassociating and go crazy once and for all.
Alastor heard some knocking on the door. He didn't know how much time did pass, he only knew that his face was hurting from how the smile was so exaggerated, and his arm was almost in blood.

- Charlie is waiting for you. - Warned Rosie.

- Tell her I'm coming. - Said him, pulling the sleeve down and fixing his smile. He breathed slowly, trying to calm himself down. - I'm almost leaving, give me a minute.
You have to be more careful. Control yourself, Alastor, it's the second time in the same week. You can not show that weakness, he thought to himself.

- I'm here, my dear! - Exclaimed Alastor with rehearsed happiness, as he arrived where Charlie was.

- Finally, Al! I thought you had forgotten me.

- No, never! I think Rosie has told you everything important, am I right?

- Yeah.

- Good. I'll be right by your side!

- Alastor... I can't do it... - Charlie said, almost crying, as she finished the first part of the speech.

- My dear, of course you can! Just do it! Put a smile on your face and do it!

- Shut up, Alastor. You're terrible with advice. - Interrupted Rosie. - But, anyways, Charlie, you have to be confident! Put all your emotion into that!

- The only way I can do that is singing, and it never works...

- Trust me, sweetie, it will work here. - Rosie stated with a smile. - You can do it.
Charlie puffed her chest and took a deep breath. She smiled, not very confident, but decided to do it.

- Yeah. I can do it! - Exclaimed her as she went back to the stage.-Uhm, so, well...

- Wait. - Alastor interrupted Charlie. - You'll need a mic to sing or they won't listen.

- I know. I mean, where's the microphone now?!?

- Take this, dear. - Said Alastor giving her his mic.

- You can't be talking seriously...

- You'll give it to me as soon as you finish. Go. You can!

- Thanks, Al!!!

Alastor smiled truly when he saw her starting to sing.

- You really like her, don't you? - Asked Rosie.

- If she was a little less emocional and weak in that way I could see her as my daughter.

Don't you think it's you who have to be a little nicer? Having emotions isn't weakness...

- Can you please shut up with that? I'm not paying you to be my psychologist.

- Whatever, Al. - Said Rosie, getting silent for a bit. - I just didn't think you would ever lend you microphone to someone.

- I guess so. People change.

- You're so hard to understand...

- Good!
Rosie sighed and opened her mouth to say something more, but interrupted herself with a happy scream.

- She did it!!!

- Why surprised? I knew she could do it all along!

- I DID IT!!! - Shouted Charlie, surrounded by the crowd of people.

- My girl. I knew she could. - Alastor went closer to Charlie, picking his mic.
The girl was so happy that was going to hug him, but Alastor quickly pushed her away.

- Ha! No. No, no, no. No physical touch my dear. - Said, but he gently stroked her hair.
Charlie didn't mind and continued waking and talking to the cannibals.

- Why did you have to be so cold? You could learn with her, she's so sweet.

- Rosie, can you stop questioning and judging everything I make or say? You're annoying me.

Rosie didn't answer him but pulled him by the arm towards the crowd that was huddled around Charlie.

Author's note: So I kinda feel like this chapter is crap, really, but I had to post anyways. Just please remember that this was just a silly story that I started to write in the scene with the cell phone notes because we had no math class.
