The missing twins

Prologue

At the Romano's mansion

The Romano's were getting ready to go see Lorenzo's soccer game at school. They always went to his games no matter what.

"Dad, hurry, the game is about to start in 30 minutes", whined Tobias from downstairs.

"Coming", sighed Giovanni Romano. "Kids these days."

As Giovanni was about to go into the twins room, he is stopped by a maid saying that the kids were sick but not to worry because they were getting better. They had a ready taken their medicine. Something in Giovanni told him not to leave the twins but he didn't listen as they were had already taken their medicine. He didn't want them to get worse.

"Okay", Giovanni smiled.

"Kids, let's go." Giovanni yelled, going down the stairs.

A few moments later, all of the boys were running down and into the SUV. Little did they know that after they left, Laura drove to the mansion.

"Ma'am we can't let you go inside", said a guard outside the mansion.

Laura scoffed, "Do you want me to call the Don?
so you can let me in and you get fired or you can let me in and you don't get fired?"

"N-no, ma'am please go inside", panicked the guard, opening the door for natalie.

Laura goes up the stairs and into the twins' nursery room. Half the room was pink with butterflies and the other half was blue with soccer balls.

She starts packing their clothes into two different suitcases. After she's done she asked the same maid who she called for help -get the twins to stay in the house, so she can take them-, to help her carry the twins into the car.

When everything was in the car, she left for the airport. She had everything ready, their tickets, and their passports.

Meanwhile back at the Romano mansion

"That game was so cool Enzo, you rocked", said Tobias, mimicking the posture of the players in the game.

"Yeah, I agree, anyways I'm going to get the twins so we can eat.", said Giovanni, walking up the stairs.

Giovanni goes into the twins nursing room only to see that they are not in their cribs. He went to check if they were in their play room but they weren't there either.

"Bianca, Sofia come up here now", shouted Giovanni.

"You called for us, sir", said Sofia, knocking on the door before coming in.

"Yes, have you two seen the twins, I can't find them", said Giovanni, running his hand through his hair.

"No, sir, I just started my shift but Sofia was here", answered Bianca.

"N-no s-sir, I... um didn't", said Sofia.

Before Giovanni could say anything, Lorenzo cut him off.

"Dad I found a letter in your bedroom", shouted Lorenzo.

As soon as Giovanni hears that he runs to his son asking for the letter. Enzo gives him the letter and Giovanni starts reading the letter:

Dear Giovanni, by the time you're this I will be long gone with the twins. I didn't want to divorce. I tried to get custody of the kids but I couldn't. All I wanted was for us to be a perfect family. I just wanted to have the kids by my side but luck wasn't on my side. So I took the twins with me. Don't look for us cause if you find us, you won't get them in one piece.

(A/N Bianchi was her last name before she got marry to Giovanni.)

After Giovanni finished reading the letter, he crumbled it and threw it on the floor. He wasn't mad, he was raging.

After that day nothing was the same. The household became sad, lonely, and depressing. Nothing worked, they couldn't find them no matter what they did. They had their sunshine and moonlight taken away from them.
