-At Home-
Devon was curled up in his bed, waiting for Sae to text him. He wasn't sure if it was okay if Devon texted something himself, and if he did, he wondered if he would have enough self-restraint not to spam him like he wanted to. So he opted to stare at the screen until Sae texted him. He had thought about watching something on the side, preferably Fast and Furious 2, but as much as he loved the movie, he had already watched it last night to pump himself up for asking the latter to be his partner. Besides, he wasn't in the mood to watch it again.Devon's usual routine when he comes home is to do some studying, then get into the bath, and by then, it would already be decently late into the night, so it was a completely different experience coming home and immediately curling up into his bed. Devon honestly felt extremely unproductive, so he got up and washed his blankets while waiting for Sae to text him.
He gathered all his blankets and brought them to the laundry room, where he started a load. It would take an hour, and surely, Sae would've already texted him by then. Devon went to the kitchen and grabbed a snack his grandmother recently got at the store. It was some strawberry jello, so Devon had to grab a spoon to eat it. He strolled back to his room just to find his empty bed. He wanted to lay on his bed, and now he regretted washing his blankets because where was he supposed to lay while waiting for Sae to text him? He put his jello on his bedside table and trudged up to the credenza to get the remote. He would just have to sit on the chair in the corner of his room. And with that, he saw his phone light up. Devon's eyes widened as he scurried for the phone on his bedside table, making sure not to knock over the jello or spoon. He grabbed it and ran to lean up on the wall. When he saw the notification, he felt himself smile. Devon quickly opened his phone and went to the message.

Sae Bff🤞✊: So, do you have an idea when we're going to meet? Or is that something I have to guess? (sent at 4:47 PM)
Devon: Ummmmm, I'm still not sure when, but I know where we can go. You can choose the time. Oh, and I'm not a fan of early mornings, so it would be great if you chose something later in the day.
Obviously not too late...(sent at 4:50 PM)

Devon: Yeah whatever(sent at 4:59 PM)
Devon was in conversation with Sae when he heard his grandmother coming through the door. He wanted to rush to greet her but also to say goodbye to Sae first. Besides, they could continue the conversation or, for sure, tomorrow when they would be spending time together.
