                                   Elliot's POV

I had hope by the time we had gotten back to the waiting area a doctor or someone would be there waiting to give us an update. At least, now I'll know I'll get to be there when she wakes up."

                               Olivia's POV
I don't know what was going on, but I know I am happy. I got dragged out of my thoughts when, my daughter, Madeline used her little hands to grab my hand and said " come on mommy, there are baby ducks in the pond," as we walked in the park. I replied while laughing, " alright, alright Madeline, the ducks aren't going anywhere so just take your time." She stopped trying to run and started walking and said " okay, mommy." As we got closer to seeing the ducks, I could not help but notice how beautiful my little Madeline is. She has a dirty blonde hair and blue eyes' like Elliot, but her face was all me. We got to the pond and she started jumping in excitement giggling and laughing. I smiled and started looking in the water. The more I stared in the water, the more the water started to look blurry. I looked and looked till the image in the water became clear. I was so confused because the reflection looked like a hospital room. I was getting creeped out so I said " Madeline, it's time to go sweetheart." She replied " no mommy, let's just stay a little longer because it's almost time for you to go back," in a sad voice. I stooped down to her level and said " what do you mean Madeline? I don't understand and why do you sound so sad? You were just happy a minute ago." She responded " you have to go back to the real world, that's why I'm sad." I looked at her worriedly and said " Madeline, stop being silly, this is the real world and I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here with you." She replied " mommy, you know deep down, you don't belong here. If you looked into the water and saw anything but ducks in a pond, that means you'll be leaving me very soon. But it's okay, you won't remember when you wake up." I replied " Madeline, you're scaring me. Let's just continue looking at the ducks." She smiled and said "okay mommy." She went back to being happy like she didn't just tell me some weird things a minute ago. She then came back over to me, kissed me on the cheek and said " I love you mommy." As I was about respond and say I love you too, she started to disappear. I started screaming and panicking, where did she go. I could feel my head dropping into my chest. I felt lightheaded all of a sudden and fell to the ground. When I opened my eyes again, I was in a hospital room. I heard what I assume was a doctor or nurse say "she's back. How are you feeling Ms.Benson?"

Good morning, I'll be taking a break from writing, finals are around the corner and an immediate family member of mine passed away last night 💔🕊️. I really don't know how to feel, I'm just sad and still processing😞.
