*A village lost! A small trading village has vanished from the networks of the Galactic Republic. With the fear of this being behind a droid attack, the council dispatches Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi to investigate the strange and sudden disappearance of the village.
*In the Coida System. A planet with abandoned industrial facilities taken over by the repopulation of floral. Republic forces land at the original source of the SOS. Clones securing the area and investigating the forsaken trading post
*Republic gunships make their way down to the source, Kenobi, Anakin and Ahsoka riding the dropship down. The dropship lands outside of the trading post near a Republic tent
*The three make way inside the tent. With clone medics and soldiers inside. Rex one of them, next to Ajax.
"Captain. Have you learned anything new?" Anakin request
"Uh...no sir. Whatever happened to these people. There are barley any traces of where they went." Rex says
"We have yet to find any bodies around. Either someone wanted to clean the mess or did something else to them." Ajax adds on
"Have your men found anything else?" Anakin ask
"Scouts found some creatures 13 clicks west from this position." Ajax informs
"Anything from them?" Anakin ask
"No, sir. We have nothing yet." Ajax responds
"Captain Rex! We found somebody in the village. Still some vital signs." A clone says over comms
"Bring them to the medical tent." Rex orders
*In just a few minutes, two clones bring a very injured survivor to a tent for medical. The rest walking in on the survivor, laid out on the bed.
*When everyone enters. The first thing they see is pink veins pulsing on the survivors neck. Skin, dried and cracking, bones looking dislocated and broken. Breathing heavy
"Vitals are critical, sir. We are preparing medicine now." A clone says
"He able to speak?" Rex ask
"Barely." The clone responds
"Hey. Man look at me." Ajax says to get the survivors attention
"Hey! Over here." Ajax says waving his hand in front of the survivors face
*The survivor looks over at Ajax but does not seem fully focused. Looking as if he is dazed and blanking out, mouth hanging open.
"What happened down there?" Ajax ask
"They.....kept coming......we tried to kill them but they transformed our own families into those....monsters..." The survivor says with a tone of fear and gargling like liquid sits in his throat.
"Where did they come from?" Ajax ask
"They are.....everywhere....." The survivor says as he looks towards Ahsoka
"you.......you killed our kind....." The survivor says
"What's he talking about?" Ajax ask
"Those veins. They look similar to what the undead Geonosians had." Anakin points out
"But this strain did not come from Geonosis. The planet is across the galaxy." Kenobi says
"Maybe the scout team knows something." Anakin mentions
"Rex. Tell your men to watch over this guy and see what you can learn." Kenobi orders
"Yes, sir." Rex responds
