Prologue

"Do you know why I had you brought here Leonardo"

Leonardo shivered.'under the glance of the Ruler..

"You have been found to be conspiring against the Supreme ruler"

Leonardo's mouth was as it was glued together. Not a word, not a sound, came out between his lips.

"Leonardo.."

Leonardo was shaking. His eyes flickered from the ruler to the floor to the guards standing by the entrance.

"Leonardo!.." The ruler's eyes were cold. "Look at me!"

Leonardo snapped. He started silently wailing.

The ruler sighed. "You are pathetic!.. The justice that you preach is nothing in the face of reality! Your followers die for you and yet here you are on the floor begging me!" He was repelled. Repelled at the creature wailing on the floor in front of him. "You have no right!.. The men who lost their lives in battle.. the... And you!.."
