I walk down the dimly lit hallway, paintings staring me in the face as I come across a door labeled 'Naruto'. It had one small, bright red Uzumaki symbol and one small Uchiha symbol. I had never been here a day in my life, but once Naruto had failed to answer my letter about having lunch on Saturday, I decided to come in. I knocked on the door before quietly twisting the knob and pushing the door in. As the door gave way and opened up to the sights inside, I began to get confused. There he was, with Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata, but his belly was abnormally large and Sasuke was hugging Naruto from behind.

Naruto turns around to look at me, horror in his eyes as I stare at him in confusion and disbelief. He slowly gets up from his comfortable spot with the help of the nearby bed before diligently walking over to me. He walks me out the door and closes it behind him as he briskly walks me into the dining room. I watch as he makes us both herbal tea, brewing it with a blank expression on his face. I begin to wonder what made Naruto so wound up, so up tight and cautious. He's never been one to be this way, it was always the care-free and easygoing Naruto, but now, it feels like I don't know him at all.

He sets the pot of tea in the space between us, handing me a cup and setting one of his own directly in front of him. "Iruka-Sensei, why are you here?" He asks, taking a swig of his tea. "Well, you never answered any of my letters and I haven't seen you in a while so I asked around and found out you were here. Naruto, why are you on protective orders from Lady Tsunade? Is there anything I need to know about?" He looks at me with a soft smile, one of contempt that I had never once seen in my life.

"I'm alright, Iruka-Sensei." He takes another sip of tea in his mouth as he looks down and eyes his stomach with a familiar smile that I love to see on his face. "Around 8.5 months ago, me and Sasuke had a lousy drunken night together, little did either of us know that I'm a Neko." I look at him in shock. Naruto is a Neko? Is it because of the nine tails? How on earth did any of this happen? All of these thoughts come flooding into my mind as Naruto lightly chuckles, taking another sip of tea into his mouth and gulping it down.

"Judging by your face I guess it's safe to assume that you've figured it out? Yes, I am wielding the heiress to the Uchiha assets, Kiyomi Uchiha Uzumaki." Hearing him say it out loud really makes it official. Naruto Uzumaki, the Naruto that I helped raise since he was just a small little thing, is pregnant with the next Uchiha. "How do you feel about all of this Naruto?" I say, taking a swig of tea to moisten my now Sahara-like throat. He laughs. "It was hard to accept at first. Sasuke wasn't aware of any of it and it was hard to really find any balance in it all, but so far, I've managed nicely. I'm honestly quite grateful, it's not everyday that someone like me could be this fortunate."

I smile at this remark. It's true, it's not everyday that something this fortunate is able to happen and I'm glad that it's Naruto. At least it being Naruto assures the baby's wellbeing. Am I worried about Naruto? Of course I am, I'm scared half to death that he'll die in child labor, but it'll all work out just fine as long as we have hope.

I hear a door creak open and then closed as chatter echos through the hallway of Naruto's room. One by one, Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata waltz through the kitchen door. "Hey, Iruka-Sensei! Long time no see!" Sakura exclaims as she then turns around and grabs a box of crackers out of the cupboards. Hinata blushes fiercely as she sees me, almost trying to hide her obviously pregnant belly. "H-hi Iruka-Sensei." I smile at her, letting out a chuckle of relief. "Hello, Hinata." I smirk. "Of course, I could never forget my second prodigy student, Sasuke Uchiha. Hello, Sasuke." He rolls his eyes before smirking at me with a gleam in his eyes. "Oh please, I was the original prodigy student, Naruto just happened to squeeze on by." Naruto lightly punches him in the side of the arm. "asshole." he laughs wholeheartedly.

I smile at this happy moment that I've witnessed, it really is great to be able to see my former students move into adulthood. "So, Hinata, what's up with you?" I ask out of curiosity. Sakura laughs. "Boy, has it been rough let me tell ya." I smile an awkward and confused smile as I wait for Hinata's input. "Y-yeah, it sure has."

"I'd definitely say that's an understatement."

"Oh please, with all the mess you have going on, Sasuke Uchiha, you're lucky you haven't died of stress!" Sasuke retorts a sarcastic laugh as him and Sakura butt heads with each other. Pregnancy has somehow made Naruto much calmer than before, but has also managed to rile up Sakura and Sasuke to the point where they're the ones bickering instead of Naruto and Sasuke like how it used to be. "My, how the tables do turn and the time does fly." Everyone pauses what they're doing to look at me. Everyone begins to laugh as they all look at me with contempt and passion in their eyes. "I'd like to think that it's only the tables turning and time flying that makes us who we are, but it's not. We've all been changed by countless factors in our bodies that have made us who we are today and even if we never get to be who we once were, it's okay."

As Sakura goes on her whole tangent, Naruto begins to get uneasy, twitching in what I assume to be pain every few minutes. "Naruto, are you okay?" me and Sasuke collectively ask as he groans out in pain. "Y-yeah, just Braxton Hicks." My lips thin out in frustration. It's been ten minutes since these so called Braxton Hicks have started, they should have stopped by now.

"Uh, everyone, don't be alarmed, but I am definitely not having Braxton Hicks." We all look at him with concern and surprise as we all go silent. "Yep, time for the hospital."
