Unpredictable Bonds

As Selena nursed her throbbing head, Yeonjun couldn't help but feel a pang of regret for his overzealous antics. However, his remorse quickly turned to amusement as Selena retaliated by grabbing his hair in jest. Despite the playful exchange, Yeonjun knew he had pushed the boundaries of their newfound friendship a bit too far.

"Okay, I'm sorry," he apologized, flashing her the biggest fake smile he could muster.

Selena relented, satisfied with his apology, and released her grip on his hair. Together, they entered the classroom, only to be greeted by a group of curious girls near the window. Selena couldn't help but notice one particularly pretty girl who immediately latched onto Yeonjun in a tight embrace.

 A pang of jealousy flickered within Selena as she wondered if the girl was Yeonjun's girlfriend. With her slim frame, delicate features, and cute attire, the girl exuded a charm that caught Selena off guard.

However, her confusion was quickly dispelled as Yeonjun clarified that the girl was his sister, Leana. Selena sighed in relief, though she couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment at having to share Yeonjun's attention with his sibling.

After introductions were made, they settled into their seats, with Selena and Leana in the front row and Yeonjun close behind. As they chatted about their unexpected encounter and shared laughter over Yeonjun's antics, Selena couldn't shake off the feeling of something amiss in the classroom.

With a furrowed brow, she glanced around, noticing the sparse attendance and the empty seats in the back of the room. "Where are all the others?" she finally voiced her confusion to Yeonjun.

Yeonjun's response was laced with sarcasm as he explained that the "stupid King" of the class and his entourage were yet to arrive. Selena was puzzled by the term but didn't press further.

Before she could inquire further, Leana chimed in, her excitement palpable. "You'll see soon enough, our King," she exclaimed, earning an eye roll from Yeonjun.

Just then, the bell rang, signaling the start of class as the teacher entered the room, bringing an end to their conversation. Selena's curiosity about the mysterious "King" lingered, adding an extra layer of intrigue to her first day at the university.
