Ikshita's pov

"Good night and miss me , sweetheart "he said and hung up the phone

Miss him my foot

What does he think of himself? My boyfriend

"He is your boyfriend" my inner self mocked me

Whatever

Huhh, tomorrow we are both going to Jaipur

I mean, who says such things suddenly?

Now what will I tell my family and I haven't even packed

I feel like I could just hit him

Ahhh Ikshita think about what you are going to tell your family tomorrow

" I will think about what to say tomorrow. I can't even tell Shanaya about this yet. I lay down on the bed, covered myself with the duvet from head to toe and fell asleep

In the morning, I woke up squinting my eyes due to the sunlight, got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. After freshening up, I went downstairs to the dining area where the family members were sitting at the dining table.

I greeted everyone with a good morning and sat down on the chair next to Chirag bhai, starting breakfast. After finishing breakfast, I stood up and said

"papa, I want to go to Jaipur today." I said and they all looked at me.

"Jaipur? Why?" Papa asked.

"Um, um, I have a friend, Priya and her wedding is tomorrow and she invited me" I said, nervously biting my nails

"No, you are not going anywhere," Adrik bhai said in his deep yet soft voice.

"But bhai, I want to go, please," I pleaded, showing him my puppy eyes, hoping it would work.

"Showing me those puppy eyes won't change anything. When I said you're not going, it means you're not going," Adrik firmly stated.

"Papa, please tell bhaiya to let me go," I whined.

"Beta, Adrik is right. We can't send you alone," Papa said.

"I'm not going alone-" I stopped myself.

"Meaning you're not going alone?" Papa asked.

"Oh, I mean I'll go to Jaipur alone, but afterwards, I won't go anywhere alone," I clarified.

"Please let me go," I said cutely, blinking my eyes.

"No," Adrik bhai said.

Ughhh! What's wrong with Adrik bhai?

"Why not, bhai?" I asked.

"Because we're not sending you alone" Adrik bhai sternly said.

Okay Ikshita, now you have to start your drama.

"Please, bhai, let me go," I fake cried.

"Why are you bothering Adrik? Let our daughter go to Jaipur" mom said to Adrik bhai.

"But mom," mom didn't let him complete his words.

"No buts, I've said it, that means she's going," mom said, and I smiled, but quickly hid my smile.
