Ceaseless Attachment [Megari GHOST AU]

Unexpected Turn Of Events - CHAPTER 1

It was a normal day in the showgrounds, or as normal as it can be of course. As for the SMG4 castle, Tari was there in the gaming room, preparing something for later, it was a orange rubber duck. They always got their girlfriend Meggy a duck for their anniversaries. Tari put the rubber duck in a box and put tape over it. As Tari was in thought, they fiddle a bit with the first month anniversary gift they got from Meggy. A cyan/turquoise moon bracelet, Meggy had a yellow/orange sun bracelet so they would match. 

Tari suddenly realises that they were in thought they quickly put the box somewhere in the gaming room and hid it, after a few seconds they hear a knock from the gaming rooms door "A- Come in!" Tari says, wondering who it could be. Meggy opens the door and peaks before walking in "Hi Tar-tar! What'cha doing?" "O-oh uhm.. Nothing really! Just looking for games to play.." Tari lies, just so Meggy wouldn't know Tari is hiding another duck for their month anniversary gift just like the other three months. "Oh, really? Well let's play Mario kart Wii then!" Meggy says as she gets her Wii U controller ready, Tari smiles "Okay!" They turn on the Wii U and Start Mario kart Wii. After a while, Tari had the lead almost every match! Meggy getting the lead sometimes, the last round played and Tari got into the finish line first "I won!" Tari says cheerful and proud of themself as Meggy sighs defeated "you always do!" She leans back at the couch as Tari chuckles.

"You still did good though, Meggy!" Tari reassures her as they put down their Wii U controller on the table infront of them. "Well, thanks Tari." Meggy says with a faint smile as she shuts off the Wii U with her controller and puts it down on the table beside Tari's controller. The couple leans back onto the couch, to their surprise when they look out of the gaming rooms window they see a storm starting to get closer to the SMG4 castle. 

"Wh- A storm? Wasn't it supposed to be sunny all day?" Tari says as they look in confusion back at Meggy. "Huh, it seems to get heavier by the minute too..." Meggy says a bit worrisome as she continues looking out of the window, Tari nervously nods in agreement, they never liked the storm but they try to stay calm as they put a hand on Meggy's shoulder. "Yeah, don't worry though, I'm sure it'll be over soon!" Tari tries to reassure Meggy.
