It was a normal, boring day like always. I was sitting at my desk, learning forward to open my old flower patterned curtains which my Mom got me for my eighth Birthday. "Gosh I should've replaced them a long time ago." I sighed while looking at them, searching for something to entertain me. Just as I was about to check my phone next to me, a sudden "MINHO!!!" came from downstairs. Probably my mom trying to tell me to wash the dishes again. "WHAT???" I screamed back. "We need to talk!!" She lowered her voice but was still shouting. "I guess it is something serious?" I thought and walked downstairs quickly. Mom was standing in the kitchen looking at her phone while leaning down on the counter. Walking to her slowly I asked her "What is it-" "Have you heard yet?" She asked me, interrupting me at the end of my sentence. Since this is not what I expected my mom to say I made a confusing face and asked "What do you mean?" "Your teacher just texted me saying there is a new boy in your class. He's coming to school tomorrow." She said. "A new boy? Huh?"

Jisung

Here I am on the train to my aunt with a new bruise on my left cheek. Aunt Kim is from all the people I know, the only one I can trust since she was always there for me when i had a hard time. The only problem is that my Aunt lives in Seoul and my mom in Daegu, but this time, I was planning to move in with my aunt and apply to a new school. I couldn't do this anymore, home was like hell to me, so I escaped. My mom was always the worst but after she found out that I was gay, I already found myself getting threwed at the wall and getting pulled by my hair. What if she's going to come to Seoul? What if she finds me and then kills auntie? God damnit why am I even fucking thinking about that. Han jisung, you're starting a new life, so stop overthinking over some stupid shit. Suddenly I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket, it was auntie. I picked up and let out a nervous "hi!" " Are you okay hannie? Hang in there!" She said "Don't worry about me, I'm going to be there in 45 minutes." I answered "Great, Well... Guess what? I.. applied to your new highschool and you... got accepted!" "I did?!" I said excitingly "Finally I can live in peace." I answered in a relieved voice "That's what I thought you'd say, well congratulations" She let out a small chuckle and hung up. Finally I was joining a new school! Tho, I know it will be hard to fit and I will probably struggle with socializing, but you know what? I don't even need friends, I'm already happy when I'm not around my mom. So for now I'm planning to be the quiet kid, I don't need any relationships or friendships for now. I thought and put in my cheap headphone in my right ear while listening to my favorite song called silent cry by stray kids.
