The charmed garden : Poppy and branchs journey of friendship

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬

The next morning, Branch woke up and looked over to see nothing but blankets and pillows surrounding him. Realizing thay poppy wasn't there, he shuffled out of her bed and tip toed down the stairs following the sound of laughter and smell of syrup.

When he Reached the kitchen doorway, branch wasn't sure if he should come in because it seemed like him and whoever the other troll was were having a deep conversation together, full of giggles and such.

Then poppy caught sight of Branch , Her beautiful smile widened. Branch felt a blush creep up his neck, until Viva giggled saying "Moooorijg branch !love ur jammies by the way" didn't even he was still in his pajamas. But the warmth in Poppy's eyes beckoned him over. he took a seat at the table, and Poppy slid a plate of pancakes toward him. "Morning, sleepyhead," she teased gently, and all his embarrassment feeling faded.

Branch WAS trying to be all serious, meticulously spreading just the right amount of syrup on his pancake , but then Poppy playfully flicked a blueberry at him, which lands right on top of his perfectly arranged jam.

"For extra flavor!" she giggles and he signed taking a bite, poppy always managed to make some of the tastiest foods in the village!! that's why majority of the hangouts ended up at her home, with branch alone or the rest of the snack pack to.

"And here we have the magnificent, the stupendous, Tower de Breakfast!" Viva narrated as if she was on a cooking show, she had decided to make a towering fruit pancake sculpture,

Branch can't help but crack a smile at Poppy's antics and Viva's commentary. He attempts to retaliate with a stealthy blueberry toss towards Poppy, but she catches it in her mouth, declaring, "Score one for Team Poppy!" Doing a lil dance in her chair.

The pink and blue troll exchanged a glance. Poppy takes a deep breath and says, "Me and branch are going to go on a trip..it leads us to a garden we both haven't been to before and think it's a great idea , we won't be gone for to long !"

There's a moment of silence.Then, Viva with a hint of concern in her voice, speaks up, "I trust you both, but please promise me you'll be safe and cautious. I worry about you."

Poppy reaches out and places a comforting hand on Vivas arm, looking her in the eyes. "Don't worry viva please. We'll take every precaution and look out for each other. We'll be just fine, right popcorn? ." Branch speaks up first, poppy shakes her head saying "yes!"

Viva smiles, reassured by Branch's words, and nods. "Alright, just promise me you'll be careful. And have fun, of course!"

"As long as we don't leave our common sense behind we will be all good, trust me." Poppy and Branch exchange a grin,viva gave them both a hug and laughed.

Poppy and Branch quickly got ready to head over to Branch's bunker, they make their way over fast, not wasting daylight. When they arrive, they find John, Clay,Floyd and bruce hanging around doing whatever it seemed. Floyd and Bruce were in the middle of talking over a childhood memory involving their grandma, Cute. Clay and John arguing ?

"Obviously it's gonna taste bad if u put nasty ass ketchup on that, I could puke right now I swear."

"Well what else am I supposed use?"

"Mustard duh."

"ok now I'm actually gonna barf,how does one troll have such bad taste"

" COUGH COUGH im home!"Greeting everyone, Branch explained hoping they wouldn't destroy his home while he was gone .. John spots Poppy and winks at Branch. "Hey, Branch, bringing your sunshine to the bunker AND ON A LIL TRIP, huh? You're smitten, aren't you?" he teases, a playful grin on his face. Poppy puts her hand over her mouth to hide her giggle, she was sure she was blushing right now.

Branch rolls his eyes, but can't help but smile. "Oh, come on, John. You know I'm just focused on our mission. But thanks for the concern," he replies, nudging his brother.

Clay and Floyd join in, their faces lighting up with excitement for their baby brother . "We're gonna miss you, Branch! But be safe out there and don't have too much fun," Bruce says with a sly wink, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Branch chuckles and gives his brothers a heartfelt hug. "Thanks, guys. I'll make sure to keep Poppy and myself out of trouble. We'll be back before you know it."

Poppy Mentioned she was going to run to the washroom quickly before the journey, leaving the bros all alone.

Branch, feeling a bit bugged by the constant teasing, turns to his oldest brother, John Dory. "Hey, I'm a grown troll, you know right. Your jokes are starting to wear a little thin and I don't-" he says, trying to keep the mood light but was cut off as John Dory wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

His oldest brother chuckles, ruffling Branch's hair affectionately. "Relax, little bro. It's just what older brothers do. " Branch quickly slipped out of his brother's grip, grumbling as he brushed off his vest, that's not the reply he wanted at all.

"I'm proud of you, you know that," he responds with a warm smile honestly taking branch by suprise and he smiles back even wider.

Floyd, overhearing the exchange, chimes in with a hearty laugh. "Just make sure you two have fun, alright? It's not all about dodging danger and being serious. Enjoy the journey, Branch!" he says, giving him a supportive pat on the back.

The banter and well-wishes from his brothers remind Branch that, despite the teasing, they've got his back. With a nod and a grateful smile, he turns to Poppy, all set to embark on their adventure with his brothers' blessings.

Branxh and poppy gave them all hugs and left, They were exited and ready to face whatever challenges may come on the way.
