My brother is Connor Bedard yep the number one draft pick he's really now that cool like every thinks
We've always been close I'm only 2 years older than him but he's always been protective it's annoying
While he's been playing hockey I went to Germany for a year just to get away and was an amazing experience but now I'm in Chicago watching my brother play and following his dreams
I was waiting for Connor when my friend Meg called me we met in Germany she doesn't speak good English but luckily I learned German in middle school
"Hallo wie geht es dir"
(Hello how are you)
"Gut wie wäre es mit dir"
(Good how about you)
"Gut was machst du jetzt"
(Good what are you doing)

I hung up the phone and turned around and seen Lukas reichel
"You speak german" he asked
"Yep"
"Where did you learn"
"Middle school and I spent a year in Germany last year"
"Oh cool"
He paused
"Are you coming to hang out at the bar"
"Probably"
"Good" then he walked away
Connor walked out
"Good game bro"
"Thank you"
"So we're going to the bar"
"Yea after party"
"Let's do this"
We headed to the bar for the post game win we went to a popular bar we went to often me and Connor can't drink but hanging with the team is always fun
I walked in and headed to the bar and asked for a Pepsi
"No alcohol" the bartender asked
"Nope under age"
"Ah"
"You have a boyfriend"
Before I could speak I voice spoke up next to me
"Yea she does" it was Lukas
The bartender walked away
"Hey what was that for"
"He's not a good guy real mean"
"Oh"
"Don't want him hurting you"
"Well thank you"
"Anytime"
I spent the whole night with Lukas he's funny and sweet and I really enjoyed it
We were sitting at a table with Connor right behind us and then Lukas spoke
"Ich mag dich"
(I like you)
I smiled
"Ich mag dich auch"
(I like you too)

It's been 2 years and me and Lukas have been dating for about a year and 8 months he's the best boyfriend ever and I love him so much
