It only dies if you do
Outside, the winter night was clear. another full moon high in the night sky.
It was a cold winter in the forest this year Under the full moon, trees upheld silver branches of pure glittering snow like sculptures depicting a pagan rite
Ghost saw how the moon glowed in the night sky. She knew about the the moon's power, she saw beauty in it. To her it was like magic, a 2nd chance. A 2nd chance to punish her enemies and destroy those who dare defy her as she thought, she gazed at the moon and continued to draw her pictures.
Almost a year has past since Ghost had lock Brigitte in the basement condemning her to spend the rest of her life as a blood thirsty beast waiting to rip and Tare anyone or anything apart.
Getting up from her desk Ghost went down stares to check on Brigitte or "Brigittewolf" as she calls her in her drawings.
Opening the door Light filled the dark musty room. The smell of death filled the basement. Rotting carcasses and bones were scattered on the basement floor.
Ghost turned her flashlight on to shine the darker parts of the basement to look for Brigitte.
the bright light reviled the beast within the dark carcasses filled den.Brigitte!..
The beast resting contently on the dirt floor of the basement opened its eyes as if the voice and the name combined woke a part of its mind. Whatever had once been a human girl was wrapped safely under thick peach skin and a soft brown coat of fur and Hazel eyes that yearned to be more than an autumn green, caught sight of the open door up top. As Ghost admired the bloody pieces of several dismembered limbs of decomposed body's both human and animal resting on a ratty mattress.
she remembered the first time she had to go "hunting" for the Brigittewolf's meals.•FLASH BACK•
Ghost was runing out of ways to feed the Brigittewolf, Brigitte had already finished the remans of Alice and the dear and most of what was left of Tyler and Barbara. Ghost had found what was left of Tyler's body in the woods so she decided to bring them to the Brigittewolf but now she was runing out of things to feed her. Now she had no other chose but to go out and find the Brigittewolfs next meal and soon before Brigitte's hunger grew out of control.
With each breath of wind that moved the branches , her eyes scoured the dark before her. She stood facing the woods quiet, patient... Listening. Her hood covered her head, shielding her face from the cold air of the night.
Her heart murmured quickly under her skin. It was filled with fear and excitement. Her dreams had been fantasies of people screaming and crying their words begging The Lord to save them. And it almost made her chuckle it's her absolute madness.
The remaining pink of the distant sky still barely clung to the horizon. And like a clock ticking down the seconds... She thought to herself Soon, my time will come. And she more then welcomed it. She held herself still, she kept herself shadowed. And quietly she waited... Patiently aware... Minutes past... The pink of the distant sky dissolved into a dark blue, the stars above adorned the sky.
The natural rhythm of swaying branches, both high and low, muffled her hearing. The win brushed past her and threatened to knock her down. But she didn't flinch not once. She stood there... Just watching them from the woods she was so close... She smiled. Her sinister inner chuckles began tightening her grin at the pure pleasure of what she was capable of... Of what she wanted to do ever since she burned Barbara that day.
And it seemed as though those dark shadows became suspicious of her Cheshire grin. But the mere knowledge of what her action were made her body fill
With glee.
She's never killed... So she knew she had to prepare herself for what was to come and now her smile roared with some inner secret. And somewhere inside of her... She knew she had completely lost it. Her eyes seem to glow with amusement and anticipation the town seemed to grow in front of her eyes as she walked further out of the woods she continued to walk to the town to retrieve Brigittewolfs next victim.
•END OF FLASHBACK•While ghost thought back on how she started to look for the towns peoples pets to bring back to the cabin to be able to feed Brigittewolf
She left Brigitte to continue on with her slumber soon Brigitte heard ghost foot steps faded away from the closed door of the basement.Few hours had passed by and ghost had left to get some supplies and other things. While in the basement Brigitte walked back and forth in the dirt in an instant she stop and stood in place as she saw something from the corner of her eye. Then she heard it... You're not done, you know.
Something burning waved around him like a mist. A cigarette glowed in the dark. She wondered why she remembered what that thing was. A paw moved, dirt clinging to an already filthy paw. The brigittewolf began to sit up, resembling more of a dog than the white beast its sibling had been. It was more like a loyal dog.
Fuck. Can you even hear me?
He turned, looking toward Her. She cocked her head to the side, realizing she was a Her. Not an It.
I've been watching you. She keeps you down here, bringing those towns peoples pest into the house just so she can get her way. Ghost isn't it? Yeah, that's it. Ghost.
The cigarette's light died. As he moved around the basement. The last, weak light of day shone through the bloodied window, casting red, transparent blotches on the dirt floor where Brigitte sat, her legs folded under her. Dried Splashes of blood decorated the walls and stairs; the splatters no longer looked red, but almost black in the dim light of the basement.
