This takes place after TPOT, assuming a Just another did not win.
"You know, it really sucks that I didn't win." Naily commented to Bomby. It was a few hours after the end of TPOT. Someone who wasn't on their team had won. And now it was time to go home.
"Yeah, same." Bomby replied. He was a man of few words. Him and Naily made a good duo though. They had great teamwork. And they apparently happened to live within the same area, as they had the same flight.
"Which number is your ticket?" Naily asked Bomby, curious as to where he lived.
"Oh, 17." Bomby replied, and Naily gasped.
"Same! We live not far from each other then!" Naily cheered, as Bomby nodded, smiling. As their flight was called over the speakers, they boarded the plane. "You know... I've never been on a plane before." Naily admitted, and Bomby chuckled a bit.
"How did you get to BFB then?" Bomby asked, and Naily sighed.
"Remember we were teleported there?" Naily replied, causing Bomby to just sit there blankly, not wanting to admit he was wrong. As the plane began to take off, Naily got a little bit worried. "U-uhm... being in a plane can be a bit scary." Naily admitted, but Bomby grabbed her hand.
"You're gonna be okay Naily. Plane flights aren't that scary." Bomby reassured her. It was a, frankly, uncharacteristic moment from Bomby. But Naily was really glad Bomby did this. Bomby could see Naily was blushing slightly, but he didn't care. He had feelings for Naily. He wasn't afraid to make them apparent. Naily looked away, and asked...
"Can... can you keep holding my hand? It calms me down." Naily then asked, and Bomby nodded. Throughout the flight, as they talked, Naily's nerves began to calm down. She relaxed a bit more, wasn't so scared of the heights, and loosened up a bit. And it was all thanks to Bomby. Bomby didn't really respond to what Naily was saying. He never did. He wasn't that kind of person. But Naily could tell he was interested in what she was talking about. He was interested in how she felt. He cared about her interests, feelings, and more. He cares about her. And that's what mattered. As they soared over the clouds, Naily looked outside the window, and couldn't see the ground.
"Like the view?" Bomby asked, seeing at how amazed Naily was that she could see the clouds.
"Yeah, I think it's really cool! And a bit scary. I've never been this high up before." Naily instinctively grasped Bomby's hand a bit tighter, slightly getting nervous about the height again.
"I'm here for you, Naily." Bomby then reaffirmed her. Naily blushed a bit more, as Naily then asked Bomby the real question.
"Bomby... I-uh... do... I can't even say it right. I did not nail it." Naily joked, before Bomby finished it for her.
"Are you asking what I think you're asking?" Bomby then questioned, and Naily nodded, looking away again. "The answer is yes." Naily did not look back at Bomby, and he knew why. As Naily just looked out the window, a flight attendant came around to ask if they wanted food and drinks. Bomby handled the order. "I'll just have a water, and my girlfriend will have... hmm. What do you want?" Naily was still recovering from being asked out, and she stuttered an answer.
"S-soda and chips." Naily responded, as the flight attendant handed them their food, before walking into the back hall. Naily turned to look at Bomby, and whispered, "GIRLFRIEND?!" Bomby giggled, and looked back at Naily.
"I mean, I have a girlfriend now." Bomby then explained, which got Naily to sigh.
"You're not the Bomby I know. The Bomby I know wouldn't talk this much." Naily joked, cracking a smile. Bomby rolled his eyes afterwards.
"Maybe you just don't know Bomby that well then." Naily then thought about what they said for a moment. The Bomby she knows... versus the person Bomby is...
A few hours later, their flight had finally landed. Naily was very happy to be back at ground level, even if the view from the plane was very nice. Bomby was holding their luggage, and as they passed through airport security, Naily asked an important question.
"Uh... so how are we supposed to get back to our houses?" Naily questioned, and Bomby stopped dead in his tracks. They did not think about that. Bomby then pulled out his phone, and made a call.
"Hello! Can I get a taxi from here to 2763 Ben Street? Yes. Thank you." Bomby called, before putting his phone away, explaining, "I don't want you to not be able to get to your house, so you can stay at mine tonight."
This caused Naily to blush madly before asking, "I-I stay at your house?" Bomby nodded, before a taxi pulled up, and Bomby motioned to get in. As they sat in the taxi, Naily got to see a side of town that she usually doesn't. It was pretty nice on this side of town. Well, not like any of the sides of town were bad.
When they pulled up to Bomby's house, they stepped out of the taxi, and went inside. Bomby's house wasn't big or elegant, but it served its purpose.
"You know, I'm glad you had the courage to bring up your crush on me." Bomby told Naily, and Naily nodded.
"And I'm glad you said yes. Now I get to spend the night at your place." Naily replied, as they both happily went around to the kitchen, out of sight from the cameras, and spent the rest of the day around each other, a lot happier than either of them had been in TPOT. All's well that ends well.
