Hardwork

Kahit na walang may favorite sa akin, kahit na I can only root for myself, I tried everything I can para maging successful in my own terms. At hindi ako nabigo.
I worked really hard and got promoted thrice in a span of one year. Madami akong naging clients, not to mention loyal ones. Because of that, ang dami ko ring naipon.
When Ate Iona got laid off, ipinasok ko rin siya sa company na pinagttrabahuhan ko. I thought everything's going to be okay, pero she became the top seller. I got jealous, I admit. Na sana, ako rin maging top seller ulit. But I was also mad since she did not follow the company's rules with regards to selling. Parang niloloko na lang niya yung mga customers without explaining the terms completely para lang makareach ng quota. So ang ending, sa amin ang bagsak ng angry customers, complaining na hindi naiexplain sa kanila mabuti so they want out.
It became a problem. Madalas din siyang mag-absent sa work but the boss is still in favor of her since siya nga yung top seller. I got tired, stressed, and unappreciated.
I gave all of my effort and hardwork sa company para makapagbigay ng quality clients pero I felt disappointed na pag hindi na ikaw yung top seller, you are just a normal employee.
Our boss compared me to her. I can't seem to forget na sinabi niyang 'what happened to you? your sister's doing so well, what about you?'. Jokingly niya sinabi, still I was hurt and offended.
My sister resigned after a few months of staying but I was still there. Pero I feel so drained, burnt out, I also wanted to quit.
That night, minessage ko si mama. I told her I want to quit, I am so stress but I can't since I have all these bills to pay. Pero sinabi niya, go quit. Don't worry, we will provide for you. Sobrang stress ko na daw, so just quit. And then I did.
Pero mali ako. I did not get any financial support. But since I saved up a lot, yun muna yung ginamit ko while I was looking for a replacement job.
That was also around that time when I met him.
