Later at 5 p.m.

Jina, Suyoung, Kia, and I were waiting for the others to arrive in the meeting room. I was going through some papers when Kia asked, "Roseanne, aren't you new to the Kims?" After a while, the door opened, and Lisa and Taehyung walked in. They settled themselves, and Taehyung started speaking when Kia questioned him, "Where is Jungkook? He hasn't joined yet."

Taehyung: Jungkook refused to work on this project, so he has been assigned another one. Additionally, he will be going on a business trip for 2 months.

Why would Jungkook decline this project, especially when he had the opportunity to work with Lisa, as others mentioned? Why would he do that? I wondered to myself.

Kia:- Okay, sir.
Taehyung:- So, let me start.This project is highly important not only for our company but also for two other companies because it is a collaboration. The collaboration is with 'The JR Corporations' and 'The Sepban Company'. This is the first time we are collaborating with the Sepbans, so I expect everyone to put forth their best efforts. The project details will be shared later as we are planning to start the project in 3 months. Some more topics need to be discussed, so we have to wait. I believe that selecting all of you for this project is the best decision.

Lisa:- Of course, sir we won't give you a chance of disappointment.Jina, Suyoung, and Kia looked forward to the project and nodded in agreement.

Taehyung:- The meeting is dismissed. You may leave. And Ms. Lalisa, I want you in my cabin after a while.
Saying that, he left the room and Lisa followed him from behind.

After arranging the files, Suyoung, Jina, Kia, and I went to our respective work areas.

AT 8 p.m.

I closed my laptop, arranged all the papers on the table, and got ready to leave for home. While walking to the elevator, Kia told me that Taehyung had called me.

I cleared my throat and said, "I hope I didn't disturb you again. Why did you call me?" He turned around, disconnected the call, and motioned for me to sit on the chair. Once we were settled, I asked him again why he called me.

Taehyung: I wanted to discuss the upcoming project in a couple of months.

Rosé: What's the project about?

Taehyung: The project is to be carried out in Busan. It's a crucial project, as I mentioned before, because three major companies are collaborating.

"BUSAN" is a place I never wanted to visit again, the place where everything happened, the place which was once my home, where I loved to stay the place where my happiness was destroyed.

Rosé:- Why Busan? (That's the only thing that came out of my mouth at that moment.)

Taehyung (calm):- I understand. JR Corporation has a major stake in the project, and we need to follow their guidelines as per the contract I signed recently. I hope you understand the situation and I need your involvement in this project. Please don't refuse.

Rosé:- Can't I just stay here and work on the project instead of being there physically?

Taehyung:- Don't be silly, Rosé. You told me that you had moved on from your past, didn't you?

Rosé (hesitance):-I said I did, but...leave it. I'll participate in the project, but I have three conditions.

Taehyung (serious):- What are the conditions?

Rosé:- First, I would like to bring someone who is not involved in this project. Second, you must answer all my questions, and lastly, if I want to return here, you must allow me.

Taehyung:- I accept all the conditions. However, could you please tell me who that person is ?

Rosé:- Don't worry, you don't need to know who the person is.

Rosé (annoyed):- You don't have to know. Now answer my questions.

Taehyung:- Okay, start your list.
Rosé:- Why is LISA here?
