Percy POV

Percy POV

As my father, Chaos, put his hand on my shoulder to teleport us to, where ever we were going, I thought about the reason why I call him ' father '.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Flash back ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had just gotten back from a mission on Pluto, ( the planet, not Hades ) it was pretty hard, we had to stop a war beetween the Gallenoes and the Janeries. Thier names may sound stupid, but they are actually anything but stupid. I, along with most of the warriors of Chaos, think that they are smarter then Athena, the godess of wisdom. But anyway, the Gallenoes and the Janeries are mortal enemies. Nobody knows why, they just are. Thats why it was so hard to get them to stop fighting, can you imagine trying to stop a war with about 8000 people on each side, when you only have 5 other people trying to stop it. No matter how powerful the 5 other people and I are, it would still be hard. Heck, it would still be hard, even if we had Chaos with us, wich we didn't. But anyway, we managed to stop the war, and were going back to Chaos' palace. We had been gone for about a month in Chaos time, but on earth it would have been about a year. At the moment I have been with Chaos for about 251, ( in Chaos time ) so in earth years that would be 3,012. But anyway our ship was slowly landing, and I could see all of Chaos' warriors coming out of the training room, and thier houses with thier wepons drawn, getting ready to shoot thier arrows or throw thier javlins. So I leaned over the edge of our flying war ship and yelled " STAND DOWN, WARRIORS! " They all saw it was me and hastily put all thier weapons away. Then we landed and I huridly got off. No matter how different the ship was, it reminded me of the Argo II.

" Your back! "  My little sister, Sandra or I call her SanI dy, after that hurricane, yelled while hugging me. You may be thinking ' how did she get to me so fast', well to answer that, I had learned to vapor travel and I had tought Sandy. She was really good at it too. Shes the 3rd most powerful being in all of the universe, so she got the hang of it really qiuck. She would have gone on the mission with us, but she needed to stay at the palace, in case of an attack. But anyway I hugged her back.

" Yep sorry it took so long. Its good to be back though." I said happily, and we stopped hugging each other.

" Its fine, but that was the longest a mission ever took for you. What happened?" She asked curiously.

" Ya it was a hard mission, bu-" I got cut off by a warrior named Fernando.

" Excuse me commander Percy, but Chaos wishes to see you." Fernando said really fast, and panicky.

' He must think that I'll get mad at him for interupting my conversation' I thought.

" Okay, and there's no reason to be scared dude, I'm not mad or anything." I said, holding back a laugh.

" Oh, okay." He said, his voice sounded a lot less scared sounding, even happy if I  do say so myself. Then he turned around and skipped off. Thats right I said skipped off, he literaly turned around and skipped away. It was really funny to see a guy that looked 17 turn around and skip. I didn't even try to hold in my laughter this time, I just started laughing my guts out ( not literaly ). Everyone looked at me wierdly, but then my sister started laughing too. It got to the point where we were rolling on the ground. After maybe 15 minutes of us laughing on the ground, and people staring at us wierdly, I was just about to stop laughing when I heard someone say...

" What are they laughing at?"

And then someone else said " Who knows, commanders are wierd." And that sent us into another fit of laughter.

When we were done laughing I started walking to Chaos' meeting room. Of 'course I could always vapor travel, but I thought it was fun to walk around and see the palace. The cool thing about the palace is almost everything is black, except the pictures hanging on the wall. Every warrior has at least one photo of themselves on the walls around the palace. Every time you pass one rank in the army you get a picture on the wall. I only have one picture of just me, because I came into the army in the highest position, commander.

While I was walking down the hallway I couldn't help but notice the arcutecture, it was beutiful. The wall curved into a circle, with a dome at the top, made completely out of glass that let us see the obsidian black sky and the bright stars. But thinking of all this made me think of Annabeth. I had no feelings for her anymore, but her betrayel still hurt.

I would have started to think about everyone I left behind, but I had reached the meeting room. I opened the black doors, to see Chaos sitting on his thrown.

" We completed the mission Lord Chaos." I said respectfully, while bowing.

He made a hand gesture that told me to rise, so I did. " Oh, please don't call me 'Lord', or bow. And I bet you are wondering why I called you here?"

" Yes, that was axactly what I was wondering." I answered him.

" Yes, well," He seemed nervous. " I-I was wondering if I c-could a-adopt you."

" Okay! " I said excididly and happily.

He got off his thrown and hugged me. And the only thing I could think was that this was one of the best days in my entire life.

When I finished think about that wonderful day I realized that I had a hood, that hid my face on. And I was standing in one of the places I swore to never go back to again, Olympus.
