My Class Monitors

Chapter. 14 ~

After their little conversation, they went into the living room to celebrate the party with the others. When they got to the living room, they celebrated Noah's birthday. They cut the cake and Eliza and Bobby were having fun. But Noah and Zach were in the backyard and talking to each other.

Zach: "When I called Eliza, she said that you like me. It's really funny, right?"

Noah: "....."

Zach: "Why're you silent?"

Noah was about to leave with a slightly red face but Zach grabbed Noah's hand.

Zach: ".....Is it true.....?"

Noah: "Of course not! We're both guys!"

Zach: "Oh yeah, then why is your face red?"

Noah: "..Be- because"

Zach: "Tell me the truth"

Noah: "..I- I"

At the time, Eliza shouted "Noah!".

Noah: "Yes, Eliza?"

Zach whispered something under his breath while he heard Eliza shout, "Heh, talk about perfect timing"

Just like that, Zach is pissed because he didn't get an honest answer from Noah while Eliza and Noah headed back inside till the party ended with all of them going back home.

The next day, the two class monitors had lunch together but  Noah is being more silence than usual. Zach was looking at Noah's face and started the conversation.

Zach: "Hey Noah, about last night..."

Noah: "Shut it up...!"

Zach: "Why do you sound like you're in a bad mood?"

Noah: "........"

Zach: "Noah...."

Noah suddenly got up but Zach forcefully grabbed Noah's hand tightly.

Zach: "I still need answers"

Noah: "SHUT UP AND LET ME LEAVE!"

Said Noah with a bright red face. Zach looked bluntly at Noah but then stood up to hold Noah hand to take him somewhere.

As Zach and Noah was walking and walking, they finally stopped in an empty classroom. Zach then pinned Noah against the door and locked it while asking him the question he asked last night.

Noah: "WHAT! WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THAT NONSENSE !"

Zach: "BECAUSE I WANT TO KNOW!"

Noah: "Huh-"

Zach: "Noah, I'm not going to be grossed out by your answer. So, please, I just think it's better to talk about your feelings than to bottle it up inside. So, tell me, please"

Noah: "Helping me clear my mind? No thanks, I'd rather just not tell you because you seem to like to hear a lie rather than the truth"

Zach: "Your face says otherwise, it's as red as a tomato. Tell me, do you like me?"

Noah: "ugh...."
