Suika - "Big Sis, are you really Senku's big sister?"
Jyūoku - "I am indeed. What do you usually harvest out here?"
Suika - "Usually mushrooms and the greenie plant."
Jyūoku - "I see, can you show me where you find them?"
Suika - "Okay! Follow Chalk!"
The two followed the small dog to a patch of portobello mushrooms and wild asparagus plants.
Jyūoku - "Portobello mushroom and asparagus. Excellent find Suika! These are delicious, let's pick some. Not all of them, we have to leave at least five so they can reproduce. Here's a bit of advice, almost everything in nature is edible, however bring what you find to me first so I see if it's poisonous first."
After picking quite a bit of both of the mushrooms and asparagus, they continued onward.
Suika - "Big sis, is this one good?"
Suika held up a wad of bright green leafy grass.
Jyūoku - "It is, this is parsley. It's great for adding flavor to food. Great find Suika, would you like to try it?"
Suika - "Okay!"
Jyūoku tore off a leaf and gave it to her.
Suika - "It tastes weird."
Jyūoku - "Parsley had a bit of a peppery flavor. It'll taste better when it's cooked with something."
<~>
Jyūoku - "That was such a great harvest!"
Loquats, garlic, thyme, wild peppers, cabbage plants, carrots, sweet yellow onions, green onions, cucumbers, and even pineapples! There had to have been a plant nursery in the area. Over the past thirty-seven hundred years, pineapple plants would've adapted to the temperature of the area. Jyūoku was looking forward to possibly finding strawberry patches and other exotic fruits
Suika - "Like this Big Sister?"
Jyūoku - "Yes, good work Suika. Now we sit and wait."
The two set up a few rabbit and fish traps. Jyūoku couldn't hunt a whole deer, but she could get rabbits and fish easily. The two of them ended up walking back to the village with ten rabbits, and four fish. Suika was in awe of the new member of the Kingdom of Science. She was just as smart about plants and cooking as Senku was about science.
Jyūoku - "Alright, thank you for all your help, Suika. If you could take the fish and rabbits over to wherever you can have them skinned and then bring them back to me, that'd be great."
Suika - "Okay Big Sis!"
Jyūoku walked the little girl scamper off with their hunted game and fish in a small handheld basket. Jyūoku wondered where she would find clean water to clean her crops.
Taiju - "Hey Senpai!"
Jyūoku - "Perfect timing Taiju. I need a favor."
Taiju - "No problem! I'll help in whatever way I can!"
Jyūoku - "I know sweet boy. I would like you to build a nice big square or rectangular fence. I say fence, but it's really four stakes in the ground with rope tied to them in a square, it's a simple perimeter structure."
