Chapter 9: Immobilized

Freddy: Gregory. Hm. I will notify the main office.

As Freddy was notifying, there was no response from the main office.

Freddy: Huh, connection error. I cannot connect to the main network.

Gregory knew who was behind it.

Gregory: It's her. She cut you off. She's not going to let you call for help until she finds me.

Freddy was confused.

Freddy: Who? Who is looking for you? Your mother?

Suddenly, Gregory heard someone walking, it was coming outside of Freddy's room.

Gregory: Shh! I hear footsteps!

He quietly runs to the window, looks and sees two security guards walking by. Freddy saw them too.

Freddy: That's the security guards. They can help.

Gregory: No! No, I don't trust her.

Freddy: Why not?

Gregory: I don't know who they are, but that blond lady is trying to get me. And the other security guard, something tells me to trust them more. Isn't there some other way for you to communicate with me besides talking so loudly?

Freddy had an idea.

Freddy: Take this. It's a novelty Freddy Fazwatch.

Gregory goes up to him. Freddy opens his chest cavity, there is a prize box inside, Gregory rotates the handle, pops open and receives the Fazwatch. He put it on his wrist and there was a beeping noise.

Gregory: What was that?

Freddy: I am sending you an encoded message.

Gregory looks at the Fazwatch, opens the message, and hears Freddy's voice reading aloud.

Freddy P.A.: Hello, Gregory. It is me, Freddy. I will escort you to the main entrance. However, I am unable to leave this room. You should have no problem. There is a button on the wall that will open the door to the back room. I will make it accessible to you now.

Gregory looks away from the Fazwatch, looks around the room to find the button, and sees it right next to the arcade game machine called, 'Street stake Superstar', and presses the button.

Freddy: Well done, Gregory. There is an open air vent inside the main room. You will have to climb through the ventilation system and release me from the outside.
