'𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕'

Wang yeo was the happiest person on the earth that day. His wife finally gave birth and his family was safe and healthy. Nothing else could matter more to him.

   "Thank you queen! Thank you so much for bearing the fruit of our love. Thank you for making me a father!!" Wang yeo cried out in joy.

The Queen faintly smiled at her husband and her new born child. She was relieved that she was finally able to give birth. She was happy and overcame with so many emotions leading her to cry her eyes out.

"Thank you dear lord!" The queen cried her eyes out.

All the servants left the royal family alone in the Queen's chamber giving them privacy.

After almost an hour a knock was heard at the door.

"Your majesty, we have something important to report regarding the matter of the Queen and the prince." A guard said.

"You may enter" Wang Yeo commanded while putting the sleeping prince on the bed.

Two royal guards entered and threw a maid in front of the queen and the king.

"Your majesty, we found out that she was the reason for the past miscarriages of the Queen." One of the guards said so with pure hatred visible in his eyes.

"What do you mean?!" Wang Yeo asked with anger and tension shaking his body.

"Your majesty! She is a spy and was given a poison which was supposed to be given to the Queen every 8th month of her pregnancy so that she would go through a painful miscarriage. Fortunately, The Queen went into labour early on and therefore she and the prince were saved" one of the guards reported.

"HOW DARE YOU!!" Wang Yeo exclaimed with pure anger and hatred.

The Queen silently cried while holding her stomach missing her dead babies.

"YOU DARED TO RUIN MY FAMILY, MADE MY WIFE GO THROUGH PAINFUL MISCARRIAGES! BEING A WOMAN YOURSELF, YOU DID SUCH A SIN!" Wang Yeo walked up to the maid with anger and grief visible on his face.

"YOU WILL FACE THE DEATH PENALTY FOR DOING SUCH A HIDEOUS CRIME!" Wang Yeo said to the maid as she silently screamed with the cloth in her mouth.

"Guards! Beat her to death first, but make sure she is alive. Cut all her fingers off and gift those to the kingdom which dared to do such a thing. She must be executed tomorrow." Wang Yeo said in a calm tone while suppressing the storm inside.

The guards bowed and dragged the maid while the maid only nodded in no pleading not to do so.

Later that night»

Wang yeo was looking at the sky silently.

"What is the matter your majesty?" Queen asked as she walked up to her husband.

"I believe it was the diety's divinity that saved you and my son. Had you waited for  nine months, the maid was sure to poison you again" wang yeo said with gratefulness.

"You are right your majesty. Its only because of the diety's grace that we are fine and safe." The Queen hugged the king as she said so.
